It’s from Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones, the makers of “Black Mirror,” who couldn’t contrive such a series of events even for their own show. Among those taking part: Samuel L. Jackson, Hugh Grant, Tracy Ullman, Lisa Kudrow, Kumail Nanjiani, Cristin Milioti and Leslie Jones, among others.

Covid-19’s crippling effects on the restaurant industry is explored in the documentary “Restaurant Hustle: All on the Line” (Food, 9 p.m.).

On “Lucy Worsley’s 12 Days of Tudor Christmas” (PBS, 10 p.m. check local listings), the holiday is just beginning, as the playful British historian explores Christmas traditions of King Henry VIII.

Margo Martindale makes her first appearance in “Your Honor” (Showtime, 10 p.m.), as the mother in law of Bryan Cranston and also a senator.
