A two hour special delves into the most famous ship disasters, “Titanic: Into the Heart of the Wreck” (History, 9 p.m.). 

A new season comes for another ghost hunting series “Kindred Spirits” (Travel, 10 p.m.). First stop, Salem, Mass. 

Turner Classic Movies shows a couple of films in which a flower plays a part, “City Lights” (8 p.m.) and “Vertigo” (9:45 p.m.). The 12 o’clock noir is “The Strange Affairs of Uncle Harry” (midnight), followed by a pair of seasonal films, “If Winter Comes” (1:45 a.m.) and “Winter Meeting” (3:30 a.m.). 

Pro basketball has Sacramento at Houston (NBA, 5 p.m.) and Toronto at New Orleans (NBA, 7:30 p.m.).
