“Cruella” (Disney +, streaming), the seemingly unnecessary prequel story of Ms. De Vil, starring Emma Stone, is supposed to be one of the first big blockbusters as movie theaters reopen. But it’s also available on the streaming platform, if you pay $29.99 extra for Premiere Access. Emma Thompson also stars. 

The new animated film “Dog Gone Trouble” (Netflix, streaming) concerns a pampered pooch and star of the 2019 “Trouble,” who gets lost in the mean city streets. Voices include Lucy Hale, Pamela Adlon, Big Sean and of course Snoop Dogg.

Natalie Morales is director of the new “Plan B” (Hulu, streaming), a comedy film about a pair of South Dakota teens, played by Victoria Moroles and Kuhoo Verma who spend their time trying to get the elusive abortion drug after an ill-considered hookup. 

The new series “Panic” (Amazon Prime, streaming) concerns a group of graduating seniors in rural Texas who must compete in a series of winner-take-all challenges. Olivia Welch, Mike Faist and Jessica Sula star in Lauren Oliver’s adaptation of her own novel. 

The six episodes of the third and final season of “The Komisky Method” (Netflix, streaming) are available, with Michael Douglas’ character coping with the absence of Alan Arkin and the arrival of his ex, played by three-time co-star Kathleen Turner (“Romancing the Stone”).

The second half of the fifth season of “Lucifer” (Netflix, streaming) arrives. The drama was picked up by the streaming service after it was canceled by Fox after three seasons, A sixth and final season is in the works.
