A new series adapted from a DC comic series, “Sweet Tooth” (Netflix, streaming) concerns a future where kids are half human, half animal and are feared because they might cause the virus. Christian Convery stars as a deer-boy who sets out with a pal to find answers. 

The latest Hollywood premiere that is streaming the same day it’s released in theaters is the sequel “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” (HBO Max, streaming) with Patrick Wilson and Vera farming portraying a pair of Connecticut paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were nowhere near as glamorous. 

To whet fans appetite for next Wednesday’s premiere of “Loki,” the next Marvel live action series, about the troublesome brother of Thor, his backstory is reviewed on “Marvel Studios: Legends” (Disney+, streaming). 

The imported crime drama series “Dom” (Amazon Prime, streaming) concerns a boy from middle class Rio de Janeiro that grows to become a drug kingpin, to the chagrin to his policeman father. 

A season finale comes for “The Mosquito Coast” (AppleTV+, streaming). The serivce has renewed it for a second season.
