Back on the beach for the first time in two years is “Bachelor in Paradise” (ABC, 8 p.m.), the lightest show in the franchise (following another typically heavy season). Presumably there’s a backlog of losing suitors to be among the 23 initial guests (More will stroll on as the season goes on). Further lightening the mood is the recurring bartender Wells Adams and a revolving roster of guest hosts that begins with David Spade on the two hour premiere.
In all these years of reality food competitions, there’s never been one for ice cream making. That changes tonight with “Ben & Jerry’s Clash of the Cones” (Food, 9 p.m.), in which competitors have to recreate a discontinued flavor and create a new one.
It comes alongside the season premiere of “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” (Food, 10:30 p.m.).
“Small Town News: KPVM Pahrump” (HBO, 9 and 9:30 p.m.) finally reports election results.
Chris Cuomo returns from his vacation to host “Cuomo Prime Time” (CNN, 9 p.m.), where he might begin by saying, “Anything happen while I was gone?”
“The Beast Must Die” (AMC, midnight), the revenge thriller with Cush Jumbo, ends its limited run.
