An ancient vehicle is resurrected on “What We Do in the Shadows” (FX, 10 p.m.).

“First Ladies Revealed” (Smithsonian, 10 p.m.) looks at three First Ladies and their wartime work. 

A haunted piñata is investigated on “Paranormal Caught on Camera” (Travel, 9 p.m.). 

The new six-part “True Crime Story: It Couldn’t Happen Here” (Sundance TV, AMC+, streaming), hosted by Hilarie Burton Morgan, looks at small town cases.

Double elimination means things move much more quickly than usual on “Big Brother” (CBS, 8 p.m.).

A lot of the shows on the “CBS Fall Preview” (CBS, 9 p.m.) will look awfully familiar, thanks to all the spinoffs. 

“Holey Moley” (ABC, 8 p.m.) stages the dipsey-doodle. Other games tonight include “The Hustler” (ABC, 10 p.m.). 

Elephants get etiquette lessons on “When Nature Calls with Helen Mirren” (ABC, 9 p.m.). 

“Coroner” (CW, 8 p.m.) helps a young girl seeking truth about her father’s death.

The made-for-TV drama “Secrets of a Marine’s Wife” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.) concerns the wife of a corporal who got missing. 

Tracy uses technology to sell on “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” (Bravo, 8 p.m.). 

“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” (MTV, 8 p.m.) review the season. 

Bill updates Dana on the case on the first of two new episodes of “Families of the Mafia” (MTV, 9 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies features films with prominent roller skating scenes for the next few Thursdays, starting with “Modern Times” (8 p.m.), “The Rink” (9:45 p.m.) and “Shall We Dance” (10:15 p.m.).
