He was right: I didn’t watch the entire series.
Most TV critics have to make their recommendations based on the first or first few episodes, so maybe it got a lot better when I wasn’t looking. The sheer volume of new shows each week makes it impossible for critics to see every episode or even every show.
I have to admit I had to look up the original review (from five years ago!) because I had forgotten all about it.
I’m glad he found “StartUp” and are enjoying it, but I reminded him that people (including critics) can have different opinions and different taste in things.
Because of his enthusiasm, though, maybe I’ll check it out again.
