Those elaborate graffiti tags on the sides of trains are both a part of hip-hop culture and have their own history. It’s retold in “Rolling Like Thunder” (Showtime, 8 pm.) about the phenomenon. 

Hip hop artists are invited along on the new series “Chillin Island” (HBO, 10:30 p.m.) a nature show put on by stoners — or more specifically, the three guys who do the internet radio show of the same name. They stretch the conceit to go out in the wild with Young Thug tonight. 

A second season starts for the cult favorite “The Witcher” (Netflix, streaming), starring Henry Cavill, whose role evolves into that of a protector. 

Another new movie streaming on the day it premieres in the theaters is “Swan Song” (Apple TV+, streaming) with Mahershala Ali, Glenn Close, Naomie Harris, Awkwafina and Adam Beach, about a different approach to terminal illnesss.

Also streaming is the film “Mother/Android” (Hulu,, streaming) starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Algee Smith, set during the android uprising.

The five-episode “With Love” (Amazon Prime, streaming) follows the love lives of a pair of siblings, checking in over a year on five of its holidays. Emeraude Toubia and Mark Indelicato star.
