After a break of more than a year, “The Amazing Race” (CBS, 8 p.m.) is back with what looks to be a weird 33rd season. They had to stop shooting in February 2020 because of the pandemic. When they resumed more than 18 months later, two teams were unable to join the seven teams that could. Among them is a couple from “Love Island.”
Not quite “The Good Doctor,” the new drama “Good Sam” (CBS, 10 p.m.) is a medical drama, with Sophia Bush of “Chicago P.D.” starring as a surgeon who is promoted after her boss, who is also her dad (Jason Isaacs), falls ill.
A second season begins for “I Can See Your Voice” (Fox, 8 p.m.) with Ken Jeong hosting a set of celebrities who try to guess who is a singer by how they look. Tonight’s bunch: Jewel, Bow Wow, Cheyenne Jackson, Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Houghton.
“Homegrown: Standoff to Rebellion” (Hulu, streaming) is the first in what will be a number of documentaries on the anniversary of the Jan. 6 insurrection. This one is produced by ABC News.
From Mexico comes the teen drama “Rebelde” (Netflix streaming) set at an elite school that creates future show biz stars.
Season 14 of “Married at First Sight” (Lifetime, 8 p.m) begins with a three hour episode.
