Andy Warhol wasn’t just one of the best known artists of the 20th century, he was also, someone argues, the best artist of the century as well. Ryan Murphy’s snappy, colorful “The Andy Warhol Diaries” (Netflix, streaming) would like to remind you that he was also a prominent gay icon (which is why they play The Bee Gees over the closing credits of the first episode instead of, say, the Velvet Underground).

Based on the best-selling diaries released after his death, which began as phone recordings, it’s odd and downright creepy that the voice of Warhol you hear narrating was concocted through AI. Because in the future, we’ll all be famous robots for 15 minutes. Good stuff though, and six episodes.

Any interest in what “Queer Eye” would look like in Germany? (More jackboots, I’m thinking). “Queer Eye Germany” (Netflix, streaming) introduce a new handful of German experts in its initial five episodes.

It’s premiere night for the 42nd season of “Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.), shot immediately after the 41st, is also in Fuji and will probably also have a lot of maddening rule changes, as that season did. Eighteen new castaways began the contest.

“The Masked Singer” (Fox, 8 p.m.) also begins a new season, its seventh, with costumes that include a frog, a bug, a troll and a horned knight — and that’s just for Rudy Giulliani. But really, if that failed lawyer pops up in the first episode, you’re invited to join two of the judges and walk out.

The new series “Domino Masters” (Fox, 9 p.m.) does not involve playing the ancient game, but lining up the tiles in long lines so they can be toppled in elaborate ways. Eric Stonestreet hosts; Danica McKellar, ex-NFL star Vernon Davis and “pro domino artist” Steve Price are judges. To add an extra layer of annoyance, Joe Buck calls the action.
