Second seasons comes for the reality series “My Unorthodox Life” (Netflix, streaming), the friendship saga “Firefly Lane” (Netflix, streaming) starring Sarah Chalke and Katherine Heigl, and the Cold War yarn “Slow Horses” (Apple TV+, streaming) with Gary Oldman and Kristin Scott Thomas.

From Turkey comes the new dystopian series “Hot Skull” (Netflix, streaming) about a virus that spreads through language.

In addition to having the rights to “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” Apple TV+ presents some augmenting seasonal material from the “Peanuts” gang, with the 2002 special “Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tales” (Apple TV+, streaming), the 2003 “I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown” (Apple TV+, streaming), and some holiday tales on “The Snoopy Show” (Apple TV+, streaming). 

There are more Christmas movies and specials than you can shake a candy cane at tonight, including the “Christmas with the Campbells” (AMC+, steaming) with Brittany Snow, Alex Moffat, Justin Long, Julia Duffy, JoAnna Garcia Swisher and George Wendt. There is also “Hotel for the Holidays” (Amazon FreeVee, streaming) with Madelaine Petsch and Mean Massoud and “Rolling Into Christmas” (BET+, streaming) with Rhyon Nicole Brown and Donny Carrington.  

Victor Zinck Jr. and Kaitlyn Keep star in the more adventurous “Christmas in the Wilds” (UPtv, 7 p.m.). “A Big Fat Family Christmas” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) stars Shannon Chan-Kent and Shannon Kook. And there’s a meteorological theme to the romance “Cloudy with a Chance of Christmas” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) with Valery Ortiz and Brandon Quinn. 

But the outlook is dark in the made-for-TV “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder” (Lifetime Movie Channel, 8 p.m.) with Christine Prosperi, Elaine Partnow and Erin Gray. 

The old Dickens tale gets a new animated treatment in “Scrooge: A Christmas Carol” (Netflix, streaming). 

Singing their way through the holiday once more is the a cappella group “Pentatonix: Around the World for the Holidays” (Disney+, streaming). 

And in his own musical comedy stage show is “Matt Rogers: Have You Heard of Christmas?” (Showtime, 10 p.m.) in which the star of “I Love That for You” welcomes guest stars like Bowen Yang and the duo Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson. 

“S.W.A.T.” (CBS, 8 p.m.) investigates a Hollywood break-in.

A hummingbird feeder is pitched on “Shark Tank” (ABC, 8 p.m.). 

Riders on “The Last Cowboy” (CMT, 10 p.m.) go to the National Reining Breeders Cup.

Erin and Anthony fight over a fatal shooting on “Blue Bloods” (CBS, 10 p.m.).

“Young Rock” (NBC, 8:30 p.m.) gets locked inside a Chi-Chi’s. 

Bode’s crew is accused of stealing a watch during a blaze on “Fire Country” (CBS, 9 p.m.). 

“Lopez vs. Lopez” (NBC, 8 p.m.) throws a birthday party.

A death during an African safari gets scrutinized on “Dateline” (NBC, 9 p.m.).

World Cup matches have South Korea vs. Portugal (Fox, 10 a.m.), Ghana vs. Uruguay (Fox Sports 1, 10 p.m.), Cameroon vs. Brazil (Fox, 2 p.m.) and Serbia vs. Switzerland (Fox Sports 1, 2 p.m.).
