Hand in hand with the beauty of a vacation in Sicily comes the dread. Nearly everyone on “The White Lotus” (HBO, 9 p.m.) feels it, and any one of them could be the murder victim or the killer in tonight’s second season finale, when traditionally a killer (and the victim) are identified. In this season’s assortment of grudges, disappointments, suspicions and general ennui, it could be anyone. And we probably wouldn’t mind which one it will be. A third season, of course, has been ordered. 

Christmas in Washington is featured in two specials today/ The first, “White House Christmas 2022” (HGTV, 6 p.m.), looks at how decorations went up this year at the nation’s most famous address, a contrast from a previous First Lady who confided “Who gives a F@# about the Christmas stuff and decorations?”

The second, “National Christmas Tree Lighting: Celebrating 100 Years” (CBS, 8 p.m.) with the President and First Lady flicking the switch after performances by Shania Twain, Yolanda Adams, Joss Stone, Ariana DeBose and Gloria Estefan and her kids. L.L. Cool J hosts. 

Sunday Night Football has Miami at Chargers (NBC, 8:20 p.m.). Earlier games include Baltimore at Pittsburgh (CBS, 1 p.m.), Philadelphia at Giants (Fox, 1 p.m.), Kansas City at Denver (CBS, 4:05 p.m.) and Carolina at Seattle (Fox, 4:25 p.m.). 

“George & Tammy” (CMT, Showtime, 9:15 p.m.) last week was the biggest premiere in Showtime’s history, Tonight, their plans for marriage threatens to derail. 

A first season finale comes for the vampire tale “Let the Right One In” (Showtime, 10 p.m.).
