Amid the Yuletide tsunami of programming, there can be some interesting highlights. One emerges today with a special from the improv detective spoof “Murderville.” “Who Killed Santa? A Murderville Mystery” (Netflix, streaming) brings Will Arnett back to the role of Detective Terry Seattle, who is trying to crack the case with guest stars Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph in the 50-minute special.

The final, supposedly more revealing, three episodes of “Harry & Meghan” (Netflix, streaming), which is already the service’s most watched documentary, become available today.

“The Bachelor” never quite got around to doing its season with mature candidates. The new reality series “Love for the Ages” (Peacock, streaming) comes at it a different way — they take four happily married couples, separate them and then bring in the hot singles to tempt them. Will their unions survive?

Splitting up families in other ways may be the result of the new series “The Parent Test” (ABC, 10 p.m.) in which a dozen families show and talk about their parenting styles as they take on various physical challenges. Ali Wentworth co-hosts with a parenting expert, Dr. Adolph Brown.

“The Sex Lives of College Girls” (HBO Max, streaming) ends its second season; a third season was ordered Wednesday.

One thing less expected than “The Simpsons” lasting 33 years was the family meeting that of opera singer Andrea Bocelli. It happens today in the new short “The Simpsons Meet the Bocellis” (Disney+, streaming), also giving the Bocelli kids an opportunity to plug their new Christmas single.
