The French brothers who made the “9/11” are back with their definitive film on another American disaster: “January 6” (Discovery+, streaming). Coming on the eve of the second anniversary of the insurrection, it’s supposed to show the resilience and bravery of House members who survived and turned back the mobs. It will be on CNN on Saturday. 

For chaos in today’s Capitol, there’s a seventh attempt to elect a Speaker in the U.S. House of Representatives (CSPAN, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, noon), a stalemate that’s paralyzing the for a third day.

From Denmark comes the crime noir drama “Copenhagen Cowboy” (Netflix, streaming), about a woman seeking revenge on the criminal underworld. Angela Bundalovic and Lola Corfixen star. 

Another tale of a woman seeking revenge comes from Australia, “Women of the Dead” (Netflix, streaming). Brunhild Blum stars as an undertaker seeking vengeance for the murder of her husband. 

The six-part true crime documentary series “Death in the Dorms” (Hulu, streaming) recounts murders at a handful of campuses, from UCLA to Florida to Virginia — one per episode.

The new series “Kold x Windy” (WEtv, 10 p.m.) follows the Chicago female drill duo of the same name. 

A second season comes for the teenage series “Ginny & Georgia” (Netflix, streaming). 

“Young Sheldon” (CBS, 8 p.m.) considers dropping out of college.

A new season of competition comes on “BattleBots” (Discovery, 8 p.m.).
