The FIFA Women’s World Cup began even before you woke up today and first round action continues all day, with New Zealand vs. Norway (Fox, 3 a.m.), Australia vs. Republic of Ireland (6 a.m.) and Nigeria vs. Canada (Fox, 10:30 p.m.). 

The three-part documentary “Superpowered: The DC Story” (Max, streaming) reviews the large, evolving cast of DC Comics, from Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman on down. It’s all about propping up their movie franchise and features a number of actors and creators.

A new animated series “Supa Team 4” (Netflix, streaming) follows a quartet teen girls in a futuristic Africa recruited to save the world. 

JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley return for the third season of “Sweet Magnolias” (Netflix, streaming) though the actress playing Swisher’s daughter, Bianca Berry Tarantino, has been replaced by Ella Grace Helton. 

The comedy “Tacoma FD” (truTV, 10 p.m.) returns for a fourth season.

Vampires help Sean host a Pride parade on “What We Do in the Shadows” (FX, 10 p.m.). 

The quiz shows “Generation Gap” (ABC, 8 p.m.) and “The Chase” (ABC, 9 p.m.) are the only non-reruns on broadcast TV.
