“Big Brother” (CBS, 8 p.m.) begins its 25th season at a time when there’s fewer scripted shows (and actors) available to fill air time. The 90 minute premiere will feature a number of cameos from past seasons as well as the 16 new guests, which includes a Deaflympics gold medalist and two relatives of past contestants. Julie Chen Moonves returns to host. 

The third and final season for the terrific FX comedy “Reservation Dogs” (Hulu, streaming) begins with a pair of episodes.

Also back for its third season is Rose Byrne in “Physical” (Apple TV+, streaming).

The food industry and its regulations, or lack of them, are the subject of the documentary “Poisoned: The Dirty Truth About Your Food” (Netflix, streaming). 

“Nancy Drew” (CW, 8 p.m.) gets help from Carson and Ryan.

The top 17 get their second Mystery Box Challenge on “MasterChef” (Fox, 8 p.m.).

“LA Fire & Rescue” (NBC, 8 p.m.) responds to a residential house fire. 

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” (Disney+, streaming) makes its streaming debut.

Dean joins the drama club on “The Wonder Years” (ABC, 9 p.m.).
