Holiday travel is expected to hit record levels this week, but how about those “Incredible Animal Journeys” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.). Jeremy Renner narrates the new natural history series tracking the numerous annual pilgrimages of a wide variety of species, starting in the oceans, and then moving in a second episode to the African savanna, chasing rainfall. 

At least there will be fewer zombies walking around with the final episode of the spinoff “Fear the Walking Dead” (AMC, 9 p.m.) after seven episodes. An apocalyptic conclusion is expected over its two hours and 20 minutes. 

Season finales come for all three Sunday night dramas on public television, “Hotel Portofino” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings), “World of Fire” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) and “Annika” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings).

“Homestead Rescue” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) returns for its 10h season of aiding first time survivalists, starting with a family ravaged by hurricane-force winds. 

The special “Ice Age America” (Science, 9 p.m.) showcases new archaeology that is helping the understanding of early human life on Earth.

Reporter Nima Elbagir reports on going back to her home country to report on the war in Sudan on “The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper” (CNN, 9 p.m.). 

Three new episodes of “Kennedy” (History, 8 p.m.) covers his political race for President to the Cuban Missile Crisis. The series concludes Monday. 

Jesus returns to Nazareth for the Jewish New Year on “The Chosen” (CW, 8 p.m.). 

Next month’s holiday brings no less than four new original movies: “Country Hearts Christmas” (UPtv, 7 p.m.) about a sister singing duo in Nashville; “A Paris Christmas Waltz” (Great American Family, 8 p.m.), a sequel to a 2020 “Christmas Waltz” movie, about a dance competition; “Holiday Hotline” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) about love over a cooking hotline; and “Planes, Trains and Christmas Tree” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), a new spin on the 1987 comedy, with Kathryn Davis and Olivier Renaud instead of Steve Martin and John Candy. 

Do not adjust your clocks: There’s another 90-minute episode of “60 Minutes” (CBS, 7:30 p.m.) before a couple more reruns of “Yellowstone” (CBS, 9 and 10 p.m.). 

Deliria wreaks havoc on a secret quest on “Krapopolis” (Fox, 8:30 p.m.). 

A favorite alley raccoon is threatened during a neighborhood block party on “Bob’s Burgers” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

“Yellowstone Wardens” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.) try to keep peace between hunters and landowners.

Somebody crashes the pamper party on “Married to Medicine” (Bravo, 9 p.m.). 

“Ice Airport Alaska” (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.) flies people in for a tough snowmobile race. 

A Red Bull Air Force trick is among the segments on “On the Fly: Adventures at Altitude” (Smithsonian 9 p.m.). 

“Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” (HBO, 11 p.m.) likely has bird of the century voting results.

Turner Classic Movies has its memorial tribute to Harry Belafonte, who died in April at 96, with “Carmen Jones” (8 p.m.) and “The World, the Flesh and the Devil” (10 p.m.).  The silent movie is “The Student Prince in Old Heidelberg” (midnight), followed by two films from South Asia, “The Cloud Capped Star” (2 a.m.) and “Insiang” (4:30 a.m.).
