Queen Elizabeth apparently does not die in the series finale of the solid series about her life “The Crown” (Netflix, streaming). But the final six episodes, being made available today will include Prince Charles’ remarriage to Camilla, and Prince William’s wooing of Kate Middleton. Because it ends with events of nearly 20 years ago, it won’t include Prince Harry and Meghan Markle either (though it warrants its own series). 

The ‘90s manga “Yu Yu Hakusho” (Netflix, streaming) gets a live action adaptation in a new series. 

Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood co-host the 14th annual “CMA Country Christmas” (ABC, 8 p.m.), with performances from Lainey Wilson, Lady A., Jon Pardi, Lindsey Sterling and the hosts. 

Elsewhere, Queen Latifah, Wyclef Jean, Treach, Rodman and the Sugarhill Gang are among the New Jersey-based artist tho help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop on “MTV Unplugged” (MTV, 9 p.m.).

“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” (Peacock, streaming) brings back a number of old stars from the series, including Ramona Singer and luann deLesseps as they return to the Pirate House in St. Barts that they rented on season five of “Real Housewives of New York.:

Kids are allowed to wear jeans during spirit week on “Son of a Critch” (CW, 8 p.m.). 

Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila host “That Clip Show: Holiday Edition” (NBC, 8 p.m.), a compendium of Christmas-related viral videos. 

It’s followed by the annual “‘Saturday Night Live’ Christmas Special” (NBC, 9 p.m.) collects two hours of holiday sketches over 45 seasons, including maybe some from Saturday’s edition with Adam Driver. 

“SEAL Team” (CBS, 10 p.m.) returns to Afghanistan to fight against the Taliban.

James and Astrid whip up an argument on “Children Ruin Everything” (CW, 8:30 p.m.). 

“LEGO Masters” (Fox, 9 p.m.) picks a winning team in the fourth season finale. 

A couple more imported episodes of the British original run as “Ghosts UK” (CBS, 9 p.m.). 

“Heaven Down Here” (Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, 8 p.m.) is a new holiday film involving four strangers who are stranded at a diner on Christmas Eve. Krystal Joy Brown, Richard Harmon, Juan Riedinger and Tina Lifford star. 

“Big Brother Reindeer Games” (CBS, 8 p.m.) continues to gallup through the schedule. 

The 100th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company warrants a two hour episode of “20/20” (ABC, 8 p.m.) — in other words, the network that is also owed by Disney. 

“Hell’s Kitchen” (Fox, 8 p.m.) brings back the blind food test. 

A Mexican feast is prepared on “Selena + Chef: Home for the Holidays” (Food, 8 p.m.). 

“Christmas Cookie Challenge” (Food, 9 p.m.) tries some cowboy designs. 

Marty tries to heat his cabin and maintain his trapline after a record snowfall on “Mountain Men” (History, 8 p.m.). 

“Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” (MTV, 8 p.m.) pops in the first episode of “Jersey Shore” and sees what changed. 

A college reunion gets deadly in the made-for-TV thriller “My Killer Reunion” (Lifetime Movie Network, 8 p.m.). 

“Lost Cities Revealed with Albert Lin” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.) finds evidence of a past civilization after an earlier climate disaster. 

Some of the 25 newly-announced films that were added to the National Film Registry are showcased on Turner Classic Movies, with Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden introducing them. Because the 2023 announcements were only made Wednesday, the exact TCM schedule wasn’t known at press time. But among the films chosen for the registry this year were such familiar titles as “Home Alone,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas” (Freeform, 9:20 p.m.) “Fame,” “Apollo 13” and “12 Years a Slave.”

Thursday night football has Chargers at Las Vegas (Prime Video, 7:15 p.m.). 

Basketball includes Cleveland at Boston (NBA, 6:30 p.m.) and Golden State at Clippers (NBA, 9:30 p.m.). 

Hockey includes Carolina at Detroit (Hulu, 6:30 p.m.). 

Men’s college basketball includes St. Thomas at Marquette (Fox Sports 1, 8 p.m.). 

Women’s college volleyball includes Nebraska vs. Pittsburgh (ESPN, 7 p.m.) and Wisconsin vs. Texas (ESPN, 9:30 p.m.) in a pair of NCAA tournament semifinals.
