College football bowl games are the main thing going on today, with Bowling Green vs. Minnesota (ESPN, 2 p.m.) in the Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit, Texas State vs. Rice (ESPN, 5:30 p.m.) in the First Responder Bowl in Dallas and Kansas vs. UNLV (ESPN, 9 p.m.) in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl in Phoenix. 

The only new thing on all of broadcast TV is “Inside the NFL” (CW, 8 p.m.).

“Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic” (CBS, 9 p.m.), first broadcast last week, gets a prime time replay. 

From Sweden comes the film “Thank You, I’m Sorry” (Netflix, streaming), about a mother who is suddenly abandoned while pregnant is helped by her older sister, who doesn’t seem like she’ll be much of a help 

Dot takes a journey in “Fargo” (FX, 10 p.m.). 

A new renovation series is allowed to be more creative on “Building Outside the Lines” (Magnolia, 8 p.m.) with Jared Capp and his daughter Alex. 

Season 24 “Survivor” winner Kim Spradlin (now Wolfe) helps homeowners with buyer’s remorse on the series “Why the Heck Did I Buy This House?” (HGTV, 9 p.m.) returning for a second season. 

Hunter demands an explanation on “Tyler Perry’s The Oval” (BET, 9 p.m.). 

“Chopped” (Food, 8 p.m.) tries to do something with sea urchin. 

Turner Classic Movies looks at movies that set trends, from Clark Gable’s undershirt in “It Happened One Night” (8 p.m.), to Audrey Hepburn’s little black dress in “Breakfast in Tiffany’s” (10 p.m.), Faye Dunaway’s beret in “Bonnie and Clyde” (12:15 a.m.), Jean Harlow’s hair in “Platinum Blonde” (2:15 a.m.) Katharine Hepburn’s pants in “The Philadelphia Story” (4 a.m.). 

During the day, the theme is chemistry between the leads in “The Long, Long Trailer” (6 a.m.), “Strike Up the Band” (8 a.m.), “The Big Sleep” (10 a.m.), “The Adventures of Robin Hood” (noon), “Adam’s Rib” (2 p.m.), “Lambchops” (3:45 p.m.), “After the Thin Man” (4 p.m.) and “Top Hat” (6 p.m.).
