A new standup comedy special tonight has “Alex Edelman: Just for Us” (HBO, 10 p.m.).
“Blind Date Book Club” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) is a made-for-TV romance about a bookstore owner who mets an author. Erin Krakow and Robert Buckley star.
“Critter Fixers: Country Vets” (Nat Geo Wild, 9 p.m.) go to the Atlanta zoo.

Martin Scorsese helps introduce a double feature from 1948 on Turner Classic Movies, “Blood on the Moon” (8 p.m.) and “One Touch of Venus” (9:45 p.m.). The noir at midnight is “Violence” (midnight). Then comes “Summer of ’42” (1:45 a.m.) and “Class of ’44” ( 3:45 a.m.). The musical at noon is “Beat Street” (noon).
Baseball includes Oakland at Detroit (MLB, 1 p.m.), Dodgers at Cubs (Fox Sports 1, 4:05 p.m.), Houston at Texas (MLB, 7 p.m.) and Boston at Angels (MLB, 10 p.m.).
