“Orphan Black,” the captivating Canadian series about the effects of cloning that starred Tatiana Maslany in an Emmy-winning performance as a half dozen or more characters, is back, sort of. But without Maslany.

Instead, “Orphan Black: Echoes” (AMC, BBC America, 10:05 p.m.) stars Krysten Ritter as the grown daughter of Maslany’s character Sarah. It’s set in 2052 — 37 years since the end of the last version (which ended five years ago). The 10-episode season also stars Amanda Fix, Avan Jogia and Keeley Hawes. 

The second season premiere of “House of the Dragon” (HBO, 9 p.m.) last week drew 7.8 million viewers from HBO and Max, a strong showing for the “Game of Thrones” sequel. 

The story of the weird guy who moved into his daughter’s dorm at Sarah Lawrence and eventially ingratiated himself to its residents who did his bidding has already been told in the Hulu documentary “Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence.” Now, the story is dramatized, with Billy Zane taking the creepy lead role in the made-for-TV film “Devil on Campus: The Larry Ray Story” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). 

In another new TV movie, an archeology professor teams with a treasure Hunter in the romance “Discovering Love” (UPtv, 7 p.m.).

The story of the Twisted Sister frontman is told on “Biography: Dee Snider” (A&E, 9 p.m.). Earlier, welcome to his nightmare with “Biography: Alice Cooper” (A&E, 10 p.m.). 

“When Calls the Heart” (Hallmark, 9 p.m.) ends its season with a wedding. 

Jordan is the destination on the fourth season finale of “Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.).

“Celebrity IOU” (HGTV, 9 p.m.) ends its season with Camryn Mannheim and her husband doing something for a longtime family friend. 

The latest series from the son of Ozzy, “Jack Osbourne’s Buried Bloodlines” (Travel 9 p.m.) he’s investigating not his own family Tre but going to haunted castles.  

“D.I. Ray” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) tries to rescue her prime suspect.
