Tiny Gina Rodriguez joins forces with the much larger Shaquille O’Neal to host the new quiz show “Lucky 13″ (ABC, 9 p.m.) in which contestants answer questions and then have to guess how many they got right. There’s a $1 million prize at stake.

It follows the season premiere of “Press Your Luck” (ABC, 8 p.m.), hosted by Elizabeth Banks. 

“Cobra Kai” (Netflix, streaming), the unexpected sequel to “The Karate Kid” presents the first half of its sixth and final season, with Ralph Macchio. 

From Thailand comes “Master of the House” (Netflix, streaming), about the drama that unfolds among heirs after a diamond tycoon dies. 

The final night of the Republican National Convention (CNN, CSPAN, PBS, MSNBC, 8 p.m.; NBC, 9 p.m.; ABC, CBS, 10 p.m.) features a speech from its party’s nominee for president but probably not his wife. Fact checkers will be putting in for overtime. Attendees, who have taken to wearing sympathetic ear bandages and unexplained cowboy hats, will show their prowess in shouting out the initials of the country.  

“Big Brother” (CBS, 9 p.m.) completes its two-night premiere. 

Now wolves are starting to show up in the Arctic on “Alone” (History, 8 p.m.). 

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) are fighting among themselves again. 

The death of Tutankhamun is subject of one of four consecutive episodes of “Lost Treasures of Egypt” (Nat Geo World, 8 p.m.). 

Turner Classic Movies’ month-long, Thursday night 100th birthday salute to Eva Marie Saint continues with “36 House” (8 p.m.), “Grand Prix” (10:15 p.m.), “Exodus” (1:30 a.m.) and “A Carol for Another Christmas” (5:15 a.m.). 

She’s also in “All Fall Down” (2:30 p.m.) as part of the daytime roster of films about troublesome couplings. That also includes “The Last Hunt” (6 a.m.), “A Summer Place” (7:45 a.m.), “Home from the Hill” (10 a.m.), “Claudelle Inglish” (12:45 p.m.), “Rome Adventure” (4:30 p.m.) and “House of Women” (6:30 p.m.). 

Baseball wraps up its break tomorrow, but you can watch a replay of the All-Star Game (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.).

First rounds are played in golf’s Open Championship (USA, 4 a.m.) from Scotland.
