It’s safe to say this year’s WNBA All-Star Game (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) from Phoenix is likely to be the highest rated ever, as it comes in the season that women’s basketball exploded in popularity. Plus it ties into next week’s Olympics with All-Stars chosen on the USA Basketball Women’s National Team will face All-Stars who didn’t make the team. It comes with both a pregame show at 8 p.m. and a postgame wrap up at 10:30 p.m.

It also plays opposite more broadcast sports, in this case baseball, with Arizona at Chicago (Fox, 7 p.m.). 

A new twist on an old formula is the TV thriller “Abducted at an HBCU: A Black Girl Missing Movie” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), which features Naturi Naughton of “Power” and Tanyell Quian of “Queen Sugar.” It follows last yea’s “Black Girl Missing” (Lifetime, 6 p.m.). 

Coming five months early is another original made-for-TV film, “A Very Vermont Christmas” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) with Katie Leclerc playing a skier who gets mixed up with a craft brewer (Ryan McPartlin). 

The nature series “Planet Earth: Mammals” (BBC America, 8 p.m.) continues with a look at how the animals are adapting to a changing world. 

“Love Lies Bleeding” (HBO, 8 p.m.), the Kristen Stewart drama from earlier this year about bodybuilding in Vegas, makes its premium cable debut. Anna Baryshnikov and Ed Harris also star. 

Sevenoolie usually plays amusingly bad horror films Saturday nights. But tonight he’s got a classic, the 1931 “Dracula” (MeTV, 8 p.m.) with Bela Lugosi. It’s preceded by a couple episodes of “The Three Stooges” (MeTV, 7 p.m.).

Kimmi doesn’t want to move to Scott Manor on “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” (OWN, 8 p.m.).

The 1981 “Raiders of the Lost Ark” (Paramount, 8 p.m.), is sandwiched by the 1989 sequel “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” (Paramount, 5 and 10:30 p.m.).

Ryan Reynolds is guest programer on Turner Classic Movies tonight. His choices: “Planes, Trains and Automobiles” (8 p.m.) and “Grosse Pointe Blank” (10 p.m.). The 12 o’clock noir is “Red Light” (midnight), followed by two films from Czech-British director Karel Reisz,  “The French Lieutenant’s Woman” (1:45 a.m.) and “Saturday Night and Sunday Morning” (4 a.m.)

The NBA Summer League games include Phoenix vs. Sacramento (NBA, 3 p.m.), Milwaukee vs. Washington (ESPN, 4 p.m.), Indiana vs. Cleveland (NBA, 7 p.m.), New York vs. Atlanta (ESPN, 6 p.m.), Chicago vs. Lakers (NBA, 7 p.m.) and and Oklahoma City vs. Dallas (NBA, 11 p.m.). 

The Bad Bunny hosted “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) is rerun. He also serves as musical guest.
