Lady Gaga will team with Celine Dion to sing Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” as part of the gala Paris Olympic Opening Ceremony (NBC, 1:30 p.m.). More than 10,000 athletes will arrive in the Parade of Nations, representing 206 countries. but this time they’ll be sailing four miles down the Seine, landing at the Trocadero near the Eiffel Tower. The torch will be lit and French President Emmanuel Macron will likely speak. 

The NBC announcers will be Mike Tirico, Kelly Clarkson and Peyton Manning, assisted by Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Maria Taylor. A pre-show begins at noon; the event — being held at 7:30 p.m. Paris time will rerun at 7:30 p.m. in the U.S. 

Historic films will be showing all day on Turner Classic Movies with “The Olympic Games of 1924” (6 a.m.), “Games of the XXI Olympiad” (9:15 a.m.) from 1977, “16 Days of Glory” (11:30 a.m) from 1986, “Tokyo Olympia” (4:30 p.m.) from 1965 and “Olympic Spirit” (7:30 p.m.) from 1980. 

The eighth and final season begins for the Spanish drama “Elite” (Netflix, streaming), set in a prestigious school, where the arrival of siblings shakes things up. 

From Korea comes the sci-fi fantasy flick “Wonderland” (Netflix, streaming0, about reuniting people with departed loved ones using artificial intelligence.

A fourth season starts for “Antiques Roadshow Recut” (PBS, 10 p.m.), a remix of scenes from old episodes. 

“Hoffman Family Gold” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) invests in a mine north of Nome. 

Parker tries to complete the Klondike trail on “Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail” (Discovery, 8 p.m.).
