It’s good to have Vince Vaughn back as a detective (albeit suspended) in a new series adaptation of Carl Hiaasen’s “Bad Monkey” (Apple TV+, streaming). He’s got the right slouchy vibe for his Key West setting and sprawling intrigue that begins when a severed arm (giving the bird) is found on a charter fishing trip.

Because it’s from “Ted Lasso” creator Bill Lawrence, it has a lot of the same traits in unusual characters and triangulating the humanity with the quirky comedy. Seems like a good summertime watch.  

The longtime drummer for the Grateful Dead draws a connection between the beat and sports in the documentary “Rhythm Masters: A Mickey Hart Experience” (ESPN, 9 p.m.) in which he chats with Joe Montana, Marshawn Lynch and Jack Nicklaus and dedicates it all to Deadhead Bill Walton.

The documentary “Daughters” (Netflix, streaming) follows four young women preparing for a father-daughter dance with their incarcerated dads. 

From the people who brought you the true crime anthology “Worst Roommate Ever” comes the new “Worst Ex Ever” (Netflix, streaming) about bad past relationships. 

“Cult Massacre: One Day in Jonestown” (National Geographic, 8 p.m.) extends the “One Day” franchise to that bad day in Guyana in 1978 when too many drank the Kool-Aid. Its three hour-long episodes run consecutively. 

A 40th season means finding 40 of the better-known competitors from the show’s 26 years to win “The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras” (MTV, 8 pm.).

A new season begins for Tamara Day’s renovation series “Bargain Mansions” (Magnolia, 8 p.m.). 

“Expedition X” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) returns for its eight season chasing ghosts and such, starting with an old asylum in West Virginia. 

Karen Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk return for a new season of their renovation series “Good Bones” (HGTV, 9 p.m.) in which the former fixes a lake house in Indiana, and the latter fixes a place in Wilmington, N.C.

“Expedition Bigfoot” (Discovery, 10 p.m.) also returns for a new season, its fifth. (Spoiler alert: They won’t find anything). 

New seasons also come for “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” (BET, 10:30 p.m.) and “Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living” (BET, 11 p.m.). They’re both produced by guess who? Tyler Perry. 

“America’s Got Talent” (NBC, 8 p.m.) presents its first results show from the live performances on Tuesday.  

Birthday cakes are baked on the first of two new episodes of “MasterChef: Generations” (Fox, 8 p.m.) 

“The Real CSI: Miami” (CBS, 9 p.m.) looks back at the 200 death of a woman who’s bound body was found in a lagoon. 

Tucker, Cedric and Makensy compete for the power of veto after being being nominated by Quinn’s weird deep fake HoH on “Big Brother” (CBS, 9 p.m.). 

“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” (ABC, 8 p.m.) is played by Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Ike Barinholtz and Alan Barinholtz, followed by a new episode of “Claim to Fame” (ABC, 9 p.m.). 

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: 10th Anniversary Special” (NBC, 9 p.m.) from May is rebroadcast. 

A three-way negotiation occurs on “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).

“Ms. Pat Settles It” (BET, 10 p.m.) considers a broken water heater. 

It’s Mother’s Day on “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix” (Freeform, 10 p.m.).

On “The Ark” (Syfy, 10 p.m.), a rescue mission raises questions about Eva’s past.
