The craziest film of the summer, “Kinds of Kindness” (Hulu, streaming) reunites Oscar-winner Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe into a Yorgos Lanthimos ensemble that also includes Jesse Plemons and Margaret Qualley in an absurdist art house black comedy that comes in four different fables.
Even wilder than Lanthimos’ “Poor Things,” it can be as confounding as it is engrossing and may play better on a streaming service than on the big screen where its chapters can be absorbed individually, or repeated.
