September is not quite here, but college football certainly is, with the first full Saturday slate of games.

In prime time that means Idaho State at Oregon State (CW, 6:30 p.m.), Notre Dame at Texas A&M (ABC, 7:30 p.m.), Fresno State at Michigan (NBC, 7:30 p.m.) and UCLA at Hawai’i (CBS, 7:30 p.m.). (The rest of the full day’s roster is listed below)

One broadcast network is a baseball holdout tonight, however, with Atlanta at Philadelphia (Fox, 7 p.m.).

Rebecca Dalton stars as a suburban girl who wants to make her mark in fashion footwear if romance doesn’t interrupt in the made-for-tv romance “Head Over Heels” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.). Olivier Renaud also stars.

Catastrophes in space, in a hotel and on a bridge get a “Disaster Autopsy” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.).

The Ishana Night Shyamalan horror film “The Watchers” (HBO, 8 p.m.), with Dakota Fanning and Georgina Campbell, makes its premium cable debut, as does the comedy “Sasquatch Sunset” (Showtime 2, 8 p.m.) with Riley Keough and Jesse Eisenberg. 

A day of Tony Curtis films closes out Turner Classic Movies’ Summer Under the Stars with “Don’t Make Waves” (6 a.m.), “Not With My Wife, You Don’t!” (7:45 a.m.), “Sex and the Single Girl” (9:45 a.m.), “The Great Race” (11:45 a.m.), “The Perfect Furlough” (2:30 p.m.), “The Black Shield of Falworth” (4:15 p.m.), “The Outsider” (6 p.m.), “Some Like It Hot” (8 p.m.), “The Defiant Ones” (10:15 p.m.), “The Boston Strangler” (midnight), “Sweet Smell of Success” (2:15 a.m.) and “Insignificance” (4 a.m.). 

The rest of the schedule of the first full Saturday of the college football season begins at noon with games that include Clemson at Georgia (ABC), Penn State at West Virginia (Fox), Virginia Tech at Vanderbilt (ESPN), UConn at Maryland (Fox Sports 1), Kent State at Pittsburgh (ESPNU) and Bucknell at Navy (CBS Sports).

After Portland State at Washington State (CW, 3 p.m.), games at 3:30 p.m. include Akron at Ohio State (CBS), Miami at Florida (ABC), UTEP at Nebraska (Fox), Colorado State at Texas (ESPN), North Dakota at Iowa State (Fox Sports 1) and Merrimack at Air Force One (CBS Sports). 

Then comes Boise State at Georgia Southern (ESPNU, 4 p.m.), Western Kentucky at Alabama (ESPN, 7 p.m.), UNLV at Houston (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.), Texas A&M-Commerce at San Diego State (truTV, 8 p.m.), James Madison at Charlotte (ESPNU, 8 p.m.), New Mexico at Arizona (ESPN, 10:30 p.m.) and Wyoming at Arizona State (Fox Sports 1, 10:30 p.m.). 

IndyCar’s Race 1 in the Hy-Vee Milwaukee Mile 250 (Peacock, 6 p.m.) is run. 

In track and field, there’s highlights of the 2024 World Athletics U20 Championships (CNBC, 9 p.m.) from Lima, Peru. 

The US Open (ESPN2, 7 p.m.) continues from Flushing, N.Y.

National Women’s Soccer League action includes Seattle vs. Louisville (ION, 7:30 p.m.) and Houston vs. Utah (ION, 9:30 p.m.).

An Maren Morris performance on  “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11:30 p.m., check local listings) from February is rerun. 

The Kate McKinnon-hosted Christmas episode of “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) with Billie Eilish gets a replay.
