Zachary Quinto returns to series TV to star as a super intelligent neurologist, inspired by the life of Dr. Oliver Sacks (“The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat”), who leads a team trying to help patients with mental health issues on the new “Brilliant Minds” (NBC, 10 p.m.). The Greg Berlanti production also stars Teddy Sears, Spence Moore II and Ashleigh LaThrop. 

Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé are first time judges on the 26th season debut of “The Voice” (NBC, 8 p.m.), in the swivel seats alongside Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani. 

Rob Lowe and Gina Torres return for the fifth season start for “9-1-1: Lone Star” (Fox, 8 p.m.), which has its hands full with a toxic train derailment. 

It accompanies a second episode of “Rescue: HI-Surf” (Fox, 9 p.m.) as it settles into its regular time slot. 

“POV” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) tells the story of Nathan Law, Hong Kong’s youngest elected lawmaker at 23, who was China’s most wanted there years later. 

It follows Judy Woodruff’s years-long investigation into a divided country, “Crossroads: A Conversation with America” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings). 

Monday Night Football has both Washington at Cincinnati (ABC, 8:15 p.m.) and Jacksonville at Buffalo (ESPN, 7:30 p.m.).

There’s a sneak preview of a new reality series “The Wranglers” (CW, 9 p.m.) that follows the workings  of a dude ranch in Montana. Its premiere date is Oct. 24. 

“English Teacher” (FX, 10 p.m.) goes on a rocky camping trip. 

The turmoil of 1980s Italy entangle Elena and Lila on “My Brilliant Friend: Story of the Lost Child” (HBO, 9 p.m.). 

“Below Deck Mediterranean” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) tries to make sure Capt. Sandy’s proposal goes off well. 

Simone prepares for a tough match on “All American: Homecoming” (CW, 8 p.m.). 

“Contraband: Seized at the Border” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) catches teens trying to smuggle anti-anxiety pills. 

Two two-hour episodes of “Halloween Baking Championship” (Food, 6 p.m.) might be too much. 

Nylah drops a bomb at Thanksgiving on “I Love a Mama’s Boy” (TLC, 9 p.m.). 

Turner Classic Movies’ month-long centennial salute to Lauren Bacall wraps up with “Murder on the Orient Express” (8 p.m.), “The Shootist” (10 p.m.), “Appointment with Death” (noon), “Harper” (2 a.m.) and “Bright Leaf” (4:15 a.m.).
