From the people who brought you “Superstore” and the even better “American Auto” comes the new workplace comedy “St. Denis Medical” (NBC, 8 p.m.) about a regional hospital in Oregon with a colorful staff that includes the too-cheery administrator Wendi McLendon-Covey, nurse Allison Tolman (of the first season of “Fargo”) and David Alan Grier, among others. Done in the faux-doc style of “The Office” and “Abbott Elementary” it looks like the best new network comedy this fall. 

“Deadpool & Wolverine” (Disney+, streaming), with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, somehow became the highest grossing R-rated movie ever this summer. Now it comes to the Marvel corporate channel. 

The third and final episode of “Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson” (Netflix, streaming) is meant to count down to Friday’s boxing match of Mike Tyson and internet dude Jae Paul. 

“Rhythm + Flow: Brazil” (Netflix, streaming) is, as you might have guessed, Rio’s version of the American reality competition for rappers. 

A little-known race massacre from 1898 is the focus of “American Experience” (PBS, 9 .m., check local listings). The bloody coup of the biggest city in North Carolina at the time, Wilmington, came when white supremacists overtook a multi-racial government. 

A finale comes for “American Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez” (Fox, 10 p.m.) when the subject kills himself in prison after being acquitted of double homicide. 

The new true crime cop series “Operation Undercover” (Investigation Discovery, 10 p.m.) looks at undercover operations from across the country. Former undercover agent Lou valise hosts. 

“The Curse of Oak Island” (History, 9 p.m.) begins its 12th season. And if they haven’t found the hidden treasure by now, the curse must truly be on us. 

The home renovation series hosted by Christina Hall, “Christina in the Country” (HGTV, 9 p.m.), returns for a new season. 

“Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown” (Food, 9 p.m.) is pretty much like “Beat Bobby Flay,” but with holly decorations. 

The 14th season of “Moonshiners” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) is here, though it seems like it just came back a couple weeks ago. Or that it never goes away. It could be the hangover. 

“The Voice” (NBC, 9 p.m.) continues its knockout rounds, with Sting and Jennifer Hudson as mentors. 

A profiler’s sister is assaulted on “FBI” (CBS, 8 p.m.); a DEA agent in Madrid is investigated by “FBI: International” (CBS, 9 p.m.); and a scam call center is the target of “FBI: Most Wanted” (CBS, 10 p.m.).

Student deaths pile up on “The Irrational” (NBC, 10 p.m.). 

“Accused” (Fox, 9 p.m.) features Michael Chiklis as a wrestling coach accused of pushing his star athlete too far. 

A psychiatrist warns of a killer on the loose on “Murder in a Small Town” (Fox, 8 p.m.). 

“Dancing with the Stars” (ABC, 8 p.m.) marks its 500th episode with an instant dance challenge. The latest to be eliminated is former “Bachelorette” Jenn Tran. 

The precinct is held hostage on “High Potential” (ABC, 10 p.m.). 

A couple of “The Real Housewives of New York” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) go on a double date. 

It’s not enough to have “Road Wars” (A&E, 9 p.m.). Now there is “Extreme Road Ragers” (A&E, 10 p.m.). 

“Game Changers” (Discovery, 9 p.m.) looks to Atari’s launch of Pong in 1972. 

The month-long Tuesday night showcase of the actress Ruth Roman continues with “Strangers on a Train” (8 p.m.), “Tomorrow is Another Day” (10 p.m.), “Down Three Dark Streets” (11:45 p.m.), “Lightning Strikes Twice” (1:30 a.m.) and “Young Man with Ideas” (3:15 a.m.). 

During the day are films in which stars appeared portraying themselves: “Crazylegs” (6 a.m.), “Viva Knievel” (7:30 a.m.), “Speedy” (9:30 a.m.), “The Jackie Robinson Story” (11 a.m.), “The Greatest” (12:30 p.m.), “My Dinner with Andre” (2:30 p.m.), “A Hard Day’s Night” (4:30 p.m.) and “Sunset Boulevard” (6 p.m.).

NBA action has Knicks at Philadelphia (TNT, 7:30 p.m.) and Dallas at Golden State (TNT, 10 p.m.). 

Hockey has New Jersey at Florida (Hulu, 7:30 p.m.).

College football has Ball State at Buffalo (CBS Sports, 7 p.m.), Western Michigan at Bowling Green (ESPN2, 7 p.m.) and Central Michigan at Toledo (ESPNU, 7 p.m.). 

College basketball has Kansas vs. Michigan State (ESPN, 6:30 p.m.) and Kentucky vs. Duke (ESPN, 9 p.m.) in the State Farm Champions Classic in Atlanta. Also: St. Francis at Penn State (Peacock, 7 p.m.) and Jackson State at Xavier (Fox Sports 1, 8:30 p.m.)
