When Edith Lemay and Sébastien Pelletier learned that three of their four children would eventually go blind because of a rare condition, the Montreal family took a worldwide trip to fill them with visual memory of all the world’s beauty. Filmmakers, which included Daniel Roher (“Navalny”), went along. The result was the film “Blink” (National Geographic, 8 p.m.), a theatrical release that also premieres Tuesday on Disney+ and Hulu.
The little woman behind the one of the biggest songs of the season, year after year, is profiled in the documentary “Brenda Lee: Rockin’ Around” on “American Experience” (PBS, 8 p.m., check local listings). The singer, who turned 80 last week, talks about her life of poverty in rural Georgia and her rise as one of the youngest stars to reach the Billboard charts (at 12). Also interviewed in the documentary are Keith Urban, Tanya Tucker, Trisha Yearwood and Pat Benatar, among others.
After five solid season, the top notch vampire comedy “What We Do in the Shadows” (FX, 10 p.m.) comes to an end, with a big twist in a 45-minute finale.
On “Little Big Town’s Christmas at the Opry” (NBC, 8 p.m.), the country group sings holiday classics and hosts guests Kelsea Ballerini, Sheryl Crow, Kirk Franklin, Dan + Shay, Josh Groban, Kate Hudson and Orville Peck. The two hour special is followed by the 2021 variety special “Michael Bublé’s Christmas in the City” (NBC, 10 p.m.).
