A wealth of college football bowl games start in Boston, where baseball’s storied Fenway Park is turned into a football field for Connecticut vs. North Carolina (ESPN, 11 a.m.) in the Fenway Bowl. Yankee Stadium turns into its own football field to host Boston College vs. Nebraska (ABC, noon) in the Pinstripe Bowl. Then it’s Louisiana Lafayette vs. TCU (ESPN, 2:15 p.m.) in the New Mexico Bowl; Iowa State vs. Miami (ABC, 3:30 p.m.) in the Pop Tarts Bowl in Orlando; East Carolina vs. North Carolina State (ESPN, 5:45 p.m.) in the Military Bowl (ESPN, 5:40 p.m.) in Annapolis, Colorado vs. BYU (ABC, 7:30 p.m.) in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio; and Louisiana Tech vs. Army (ESPN, 9:15 p.m.) in the Independence Bowl from Shreveport.
Pro football has a trio of Saturday games with Chargers at New England (NFL, 1 p.m.), Denver at Cincinnati (NFL, 4:30 p.m.) and Arizona at Rams (NFL, 8 p.m.).
Elsewhere, a young woman befriends an elderly cleaning woman but won’t agree to date her son. Then things go bad in the made-for-TV thriller “The Last Thing She Said” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.).
On “Love and Marriage: Huntsville” (OWN, 8 p.m.), Tricia and Ken discuss their future.
In a new true crime special, a woman looking for Mr. Right keeps finding “Mr. Dead Wrong” (Investigation Discover, 10 p.m.).
Director Nicole Holofcener (“You Hurt My Feelings”) picks the double feature tonight on Turner Classic Movies. Her choices are both from the 1970s: “Coming Home” (8 p.m.) and “The Last Detail” (10:15 p.m.). The noir at midnight is “The Postman Always Rings Twice” (12:15 a.m.). Then comes the spy comedies “The Glass Bottom Boat” (2:15 a.m.) and “My Favorite Spy” (4:15 a.m.). The midday musical is “Xanadu” (noon).
NBA action includes Miami at Atlanta (NBA, 3 p.m.), Oklahoma City at Charlotte (NBA, 6 p.m.) and Phoenix at Golden State (NBA, 8:30 p.m.).
Hockey has Ottawa at Winnipeg (NHL, 7 p.m.).

The October episode of “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) with Ariana Grande and Stevie Nicks is rerun. The rerun at 10 has Aubrey Plaza and Sam Smith from January 2023.
