Sebastian Stan won a Golden Globe earlier this month for his performance as a struggling actor with a disfiguring facial condition who undergoes an experimental treatment that doesn’t go as planned in Aaron Schimberg’s “A Different Man” (HBO, 8 p.m.). It makes its premium cable debut tonight, just days before Oscar nominations are announced. 

Divisional playoff weekend begins in the NFL with Houston at Kansas City (ABC, ESPN, 4:30 p.m.) in the AFC and Washington at Detroit (Fox, 8 p.m.) in the NFC. Winners go to the conference championships next Sunday. 

The twist in tonight’s Hallmark romance about a woman who returns home to save her family ranch from her ex, is that it takes place in Argentina. “My Argentine Heart” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) stars Julie Gonzalo and Juan Pablo Di Pace.

Another sick story ripped from the headlines becomes a TV movie thriller, “The Girl in the Garage: The Laura Cowan Story” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) stars Paige Hurd as a woman who agrees to be taken in by a neighbor when her family is in trouble, but it turns out she’s held against her will (and apparently in a garage). 

A wealthy socialite falling down the stairs is eigher an “Accident, Suicide or Murder” (Oxygen, 8 p.m.).

The documentary “I Am JFK Jr.” (CW, 8 p.m.) leaves out the part where he was supposed to be resurrected to be Trump’s vice president. 

“Real Time with Bill Maher” (CNN, 8 p.m.) returned to HBO for a new season Friday, so it returns to CNN Saturday with the same show, with guests Rick Caruso, Larry Wilmore and Erin Perrine.

Tricia tells the kids about the divorce on “Love and Marriage: Huntsville” (OWN, 8 p.m.). 

Turner Classic Movies has a pair of movies written by Paul Schrader, “The Yakuza” (8 p.m.) and “Raging Bull” (10 p.m.). The noir at midnight is “Without Pity” (12:15 a.m.), “Blonde Ice” (2 a.m.) and “The Haunted” (3:30 a.m.). The midday musical is “Say Amen, Somebody” (noon). 

Hockey has Philadelphia at New Jersey (NHL, 12:30 p.m.) and Toronto at Montreal (NHL, 7 p.m.).
