Turner Classic Movies kicks off another 31 Days of Oscar, unleashing scores of Academy Award-winning films. But it is organizing it in yet another way — by the kind of characters the actors played. To make it more confusing , tonight’s assembled roles are actors themselves. So: “All About Eve” (8 p.m.), “Singin’ in the Rain” (10:30 p.m.), the 1937 “A Star is Born” (12:30 a.m.), “The Goodbye Girl” (2:30 a.m.) and “Morning Glory” (4:30 a.m.). 

During the day, TCM will be organized by categories of winners and nominees, starting today with Best Picture, with “The Life of Emile Zola” (6 a.m.), “Broadway Melody of 1936” (8 a.m.), “The Great Dictator” (9:45 a.m.), “Sounder” (noon), “Seven Bridges for Seven Brothers” (2 p.m.), “12 Angry Men” (4 p.m.) and “In the Heat of the Night” (6 p.m.).

The ’80s disco star Lisa Lisa has her story told in the bio pic “Can You Feel the Beat: The Lisa Lisa Story” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). Jearnest Corchado plays the singer (and leader of the group Cult Jam) back when she was 15 year old from Puerto Rico who scored hits like “I Wonder If I Take You Home” and “All Cried Out.” Lisa “Lisa” Velez, now 58, plays her own mother in the film. It’s paired with an “enhanced” version of the recent film with a pop music pedigree, “Mary J. Blige’s Family Affair” (Lifetime, 10 p.m.). 

Hallmark moves into the hearts and flowers month with the new romance “An Unexpected Valentine” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.), with Lacey Chabert and Robert Buckley as a couple who fall while looking for another couple’s lost engagement ring. 

The Michael Keaton comedy “Goodrich” (HBO, 8 p.m.) about an art dealer who deals with his wife going to rehab for 90 days, makes its premium cable debut. Mila Kunis and Michael Urie also star. 

Also making its premium cable debut is the bull riding drama “Ride” (Showtime, 9 p.m.) with Jake Allyn and C. Thomas Howell. 

On the second episode of “Kobe: The Making of a Legend” (CNN, 8 p.m.), the NBA star is rocked by scandal in 2003. 

Wildlife in the mountains is the subject of the second episode of “Planet Earth: Asia” (BBC America, 8 p.m.). 

“48 Hours” (CBS, 10 p.m.) reports on a missing mother in Michigan. 

There’s another chance to sample the premiere of the Hulu drama “Paradise” (FX, 10 p.m.) on cable. her 

On “Love and Marriage: Huntsville” (OWN, 8 p.m.) three couples combine for a joint real estate venture.
