Baseball starts later this week, but there’s a double feature tonight on Turner Classic Movies, with “The Bad News Bears” (8 p.m.) and “Angels in the Outfield” (10 p.m.).

Mostly, today is about basketball, with the NCAA men’s basketball tournament reaching second round play with McNeese vs. Purdue (CBS, 12:10 p.m.), Arkansas vs. St. John’s (CBS, 2:40 p.m.), Michigan vs. Texas A&M (CBS, 5:15 p.m.), Drake vs. Texas Tech (TNT, 6:10 p.m.), Creighton vs. Auburn (TBS, truTV, 7:10 p.m.), BYU vs. Wisconsin (CBS, 7:45 p.m.), Gonzaga vs. Houston (TNT, 8:40 p.m.) and UCLA vs. Tennessee (TBS, truTV, 9:40 p.m.).

Second round play in the NIT has Dayton vs. Chattanooga (ESPN2, 11:30 a.m.).

The five-year-old bio film on “The Go-Go’s” (CW, 8 p.m.) may be the most entertaining thing tonight. 

Maybe the only new thing to be found on “NewsNation Special Report Declassified: The JFK Assassination” (NewsNation, 8 p.m.) are all the unredacted social security numbers. 

“Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) is the title of a made-for-TV movie that also serves as a promise. Raven Goodwin, Amber Riley and K. Michelle all return for the story about two sisters at odds. 

Ashley Newbrough plays a charity event for a billionaire whose assistant has a history with the planner in the made-for-TV romance “Hearts Around the Table: Jenna’s First Love” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.). Steve Lund and Mindy Cohn also star. 

“Have I Got News for You” (CNN, 9 p.m.) welcomes “Late Night with Seth Meyers” writer Jenny Hagel and former Rep. Tim Ryan. 

Raq and Marvin manage the aftermath of Unique’s comeback on “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” (Starz, 8 p.m.). 

The solid drama “Sing Sing” (HBO, 8 p.m.) makes its premium network premiere.

Svengoolie presents “The Creature from the Black Lagoon” (MeTV, 8 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies’ 12 o’clock noir is “Clash By Night” (midnight). In the wake of the reckless dissolution of the Department of Education there are a couple of films about teachers, “To Sir, with Love” (2 a.m.) and “The Corn is Green” (4 a.m.). The midday musical is “Brigadoon” (noon). 

Basketball includes Golden State at Atlanta (NBA, 7 p.m.) and Milwaukee at Sacramento (NBA, 10 p.m.).

Hockey has Vancouver at Rangers (NHL, 1 p.m.) and Detroit at Vegas (ABC, 8 p.m.). 

Spring baseball includes Toronto vs. Minnesota (MLB, 1 p.m.) and Cincinnati vs. San Diego (MLB, 4 p.m.). 

Auto racing includes the Hard Rock Bet 300 (CW, 4 p.m.), the IMSA SportsCar Championship (USA, 4:30 p.m.) and, very late tonight, the Chinese Grand Prix (ESPN, 3 a.m.), live.

There is third round play in the Valspar Championship (Golf, 1 p.m.; NBC, 3 p.m.).

Professional volleyball has Indy at Omaha (Fox Sports 1, 7 p.m.). 

Winter sports linger with the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup final (NBC, 1 p.m.). 

“Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) is a rerun of the Christmas show from December, with musical guest Hozier. The rerun at 10 is from December 2023, with Emma Stone and Noah Kahan.
