On the second season finale of “The Irrational” (NBC, 10 p.m.), Alec assists with a prisoner exchange gone wrong. 

Following Monday’s finale of “The Bachelor,” here’s something different, a true crime story, “Bad Romance — A Special Edition of 20/20” (ABC, 10 p.m.). 

“Will Trent” (ABC, 8 p.m.) faces an internal investigation. 

A young athlete gets conflicting advice on “St. Denis Medical” (NBC, 8 p.m.). 

“The Rookie” (ABC, 9 p.m.) finds himself in a hostage situation with Celina.

Abby meets a new guy on “Night Court” (NBC, 8:30 p.m.).

The “FBI” (CBS, 8 p.m.) is called to a campus protest.

Ben is reaching the end of the elaborate practical joke that is “The Joe Schmo Show” (TBS, 9 p.m.).

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) take a catamaran caught in rough Caribbean waters. 

Scrappy heads to New York on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” (MTV, 8 p.m.).
