From way, way up near the Arctic circle comes the new comedy “North of North” (Netflix, streaming), with Anna Lambe as an Inuk woman looking to break out of her domestic trap. It’s an interesting look at a distinct way of life, and includes some spiritual touches, though it doesn’t come close to another recent indigenous comedy, “Reservation Dogs.”
Its first two seasons appeared in the UK in 2011. Then it was picked up by Netflix in 2016, which produced another four seasons of blending “Twilight Zone” like sci-fi chills with arch commentary on the tech age, Now comes the seventh season of “Black Mirror” (Netflix, streaming), the anthology series created by Charlie Booker. Guest stars this season include Paul Giamatti, Rashida Jones, Issa Rae, Tracy Ellis Ross and Awkwafina, among others.
The much-lauded comedy “Hacks” (Max, 9 p.m.) moves into the world of late night TV when it returns for its fourth season, opening the door for many guest stars.
Viola Davis stars in the action thriller “G20” (Prime Video, streaming) about the summit of world leaders that comes under attack.
The latest dating show is also live. “Pop the Balloon Live” (Netflix, 7:30 p.m.) in which singles test chemistry with a ballon — if it pops, it’s all over. Celebrity stars are mixed in with regular daters, apparently.
From Thailand comes the film “Frozen Hot Boys” (Netflix, streaming) about delinquent teens recruited to take part in a snow sculpting contest in Japan.
A second “CNN Town Hall” (CNN, 9 p.m.) in as many days features U.S. Reps. Mike Lawler, Ryan Mackenzie, Jahana Hayes and Derek Tran. Jake Tapper and Caitlin Collins moderate.
There is talk of having another baby on “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” (CBS, 8 p.m.).
“Doctor Odyssey” (ABC, 9 p.m.) deals with hot tub week.

A plant geneticist is framed for her fiancé’s murder in the film “The Accused” (BET+, streaming), with Paige Audrey-Marie Hurd.
“The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” (CBS, 11:50 p.m.), is bumped 15 minutes for the rest of the week to make way for “Masters Highlights” (CBS, 11:35 p.m.).
Chefs start working individually instead of on teams on “Next Level Chef” (Fox, 8 p.m.).
“Farmer Wants a Wife” (Fox, 9 p.m.) goes to Nashville for a barn dance and get advice from Brad Paisley.
