Perhaps it’s time to look at the people who were behind the Free Library Movement and the librarians today who defend the idea by fighting book bans and closures. The film from Dawn Logsdon and Lucie Faulknor,  “Free for All: The Public Library,” makes its debut on “Independent Lens” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings).

“President Trump the First 100 Days” (ABC, 8 p.m.) includes an interview from the Oval Office, taped with correspondent Terry Moran. 

A new show from the Mexican chef and TV host “Pati Jinich Explores PanAmericana” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) explores the continent, starting with the northernmost place in the U.S., the remote island of Halibut Cove. 

Stacy London and Clinton Kelly, the team from “What Not to Wear,” return for a new fashion advice show with apparently less stringent rules, “Wear Whatever the F You Want” (Prime Video, streaming). 

After 19 seasons of “Sister Wives,” audiences may be accustomed to the lifestyle on display in the new “Polyfamily” (TLC, 10 p.m.), in which two polyamorous couples raise their four children together in one household. I’m sure the cameras won’t make things more difficult. 

The new series “Castle Impossible” (HGTV, 9 p.m.) is a home renovation show involving an actual castle, with Daphne Recent and Ian Figueira.  

From the network of “Street Outlaws: Locals Only” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) comes a kind of small fry version, “Red Bull Soapbox Race” (Discovery, 9 p.m.), following amateur teams designing and building the gravity-powered racers. NASCAR’s Dale Earnhardt Jr. hosts with motorsports announcer Mike Bailey. 

“St. Denis Medical” (NBC, 8 p.m.) ends its first season tonight with a storm affecting the emergency room. 

It’s the night of the blood moon on “Night Court” (NBC, 8:30 p.m.).

“The Voice” (NBC, 9 p.m.) has a recap of Monday’s playoffs premiere. 

A big name playwright is kidnapped on “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

“The Cleaning Lady” (Fox, 8 p.m.) has to make a tough decision. 

A familiar face returns in hopes of proving himself on “The Rookie” (ABC, 10 p.m.). 

“Will Trent” (ABC, 9 p.m.) works to clear an innocent woman’s name while uncovering a drug ring. 

Michelle and Jesse’s divorce takes an ugly turn on “The Valley” (Bravo, 9 p.m.).

“Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” (MTV, 8 p.m.) ends its season with Scrappy getting paternity results. 

They’re throwing in blind dates amid the cooking challenges on “Chopped” (Food, 8 p.m.). 

“House of Knives” (Food, 9 p.m.) welcomes a formidable new contender. 

Curly’s deer hunt comes to an end on “Port Protection Alaska” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.).

Turner Classic Movies has a night full of championship teams with “Hoosiers” (8 p.m.), “Bang the Drum Slowly” (10:15 p.m.), “A Shining Season” (midnight), “Knute Rockne All American” (2 a.m.) and “The Winning Team” (4 a.m.). 

During the day, TCM takes a trip to London with “The Runaway Bus” (7:30 a.m.), “A Warm December” (9:15 a.m.), “The Prince and the Showgirl” (11:15 a.m.), “Sweeney Todd: Demon Barber of Fleet Street” (1:30 p.m.), “The V.I.P.s” (4 p.m.) and “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter” (6 p.m.). 

Baseball includes Arizona at Mets (MLB, 7 p.m.) and Miami at Dodgers (MLB, 10 p.m.). 

NBA Playoffs have Milwaukee at Indiana (NBA, 6 p.m.), Detroit at Knicks (TNT, 7:30 p.m.), Orlando at Boston (NBA, 8:30 p.m.) and Clippers at Denver (TNT, 10 p.m.). 

Stanley Cup playoffs have Ottawa at Toronto (ESPN, 7 p.m.), New Jersey at Carolina (TBS, 7:30 p.m.), Minnesota at Vegas (ESPN, 9:30 p.m.) and Edmonton at Los Angeles (TBS, 10 p.m.).
