The series that previously reported on the War on Terror and the Cold War, turns its attention on the war that ended 50 years ago. The five-part “Turning Point: The Vietnam War” (Netflix, streaming) is a fast-moving and eye-opening review of how American involvement started during the Kennedy administration with all manner of clips and commentary from survivors from both sides of the conflict. Along with a lot of previously unseen footage it uses declassified recordings of Oval Office discussions. 

“Cheat: Unfinished Business” (Netflix, streaming) is a new reality relationship series that brings eight former couples who broke up over cheating to a retreat where they’ll work through their issues and decide whether to reunite or part forever. Amanda Holden hosts. 

The French comic book duo from the late 50s resurface in a new computer animated series “Asterix & Obelix: The Big Fight” (Netflix, streaming), set in Ancient Rome. 

From Argentina comes the new series “The Eternaut” (Netflix, streaming) a new series about survivors struggling in Buenos Aires after a deadly summer snowfall. 

The new Japanese anime film “The Rose of Versailles” (Netflix, streaming), based on the manga by Riyoko Ikeda, is set in late 18th century France about a woman who gets mixed up in the French Revolution. 

“Nova” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) has a special two hour report about health disparities in Black America. 

One day late, the “Cuomo Town Hall: The First 100 Days” (CW, NewsNation, 8 p.m.) features Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Bill O’Reilly and Stephen A. Smith, while Donald Trump literally phones it in. 

Both animated series “Krapopolis” (Fox, 9 p.m.) and “Grimsburg” (Fox, 9:30 p.m.) move to a new day with new episodes. 

A second season begins “In the Kitchen with Harry Hamlin” (IFC, 11 p.m.), accompanied by his niece, the chef Renee Guibault. 

“The Amazing Race” (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) goes to Naples where of course they have to make pizza. 

Amelia goes undercover while Sherlock goes to jail to meet Moriarty on “Sherlock & Daughter” (CW, 9 p.m.).

“Wild Cards” (CW, 8 p.m.). ends its season with a guest appearance from Martin Sheen. 

Semi-finals begin on “The Masked Singer” (Fox, 8 p.m.). 

“Jeopardy! Masters” (ABC, 9 p.m.) begins its third season with its first two knockout games. 

Joe Manganiello, Tiffany Haddish and Matt Walsh play “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” (ABC, 8 p.m.). 

“Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.) entertains another rice negotiation with the host. 

Smokers are on their way to “Stadium Lockup” (A&E TV, 9 p.m.).

“Summer House” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) continues its Snoozefest event. 

Korn singer Jonathan Davis assists in an investigation on “Ghost Adventures” (Discovery, 10 p.m.). 

The month-long Wednesday night series on faith concludes with “The Song of Bernadette” (8 p.m.), “A Man for All Seasons” (10:45 p.m.), “Luther” (1 a.m.), “The Passion of Joan of Arc” (3 a.m.) and “The Flowers of St. Francis” (4:30 p.m.). Earlier, there are murder stories: “Millie” (6 a.m.), “Count the Hours” (7:30 a.m.), “Fury” (8:45 a.m.), “Madeleine” (10:30 p.m.), “The Last Wave” (12:30 p.m.), “Twilight of Honor” (2:30 p.m.), “I Confess” (4:30 p.m.) and “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt” (6:30 p.m.).

Baseball includes Detroit at Houston (MLB, 2 p.m.), Yankees at Baltimore (Prime Video, 6:35 p.m.), Kansas City at Tampa Bay (MLB, 7 p.m.) and Arizona at Mets (MLB, 7 p.m.). 

NBA playoffs have Golden State at Houston (TNT, truTV, 7:30 p.m.) and Minnesota at Lakers (TNT, truTV, 10 p.m.). 

Stanlty Cup Playoffs have Montreal at Washington (ESPN, 7 p.m.), Florida at Tampa Bay (ESPN2, 7:30 p.m.) and St. Louis at Winnipeg (ESPN, 9:30 p.m.).
