Garth Brooks is honored on the 10th Annual Austin City Limits Hall of Fame (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings) and has to stick around on stage to play a lot of his hits by request in a concert taped in September. It’s part of the 50th anniversary celebratin of the the long-running music show. 

Today’s the day for the Kentucky Derby (NBC, 2:30 p.m.) from Louisville, where after four hours of pre-race coverage, the post time is actually 6:57 p.m. Earlier is the Kentucky Oaks (USA, noon). 

There’s a derby-related Hallmark romance tonight , too, with “Hats Off to Love” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.), about a haberdasher who moves to Louisville to design for the derby, who starts dating a trainer who teachers her about the event. Ginna Claire Mason, John Clarence Stewart and Holly Robinson Peete star.

The new reality show “Destination X” (NBC, 8 p.m.) blindly puts contestants in the middle of Europe and they have to figure out where they are. Tonight seems more of a sneak peek; the actual premiere date is May 27. Maybe it’s on tonight because it’s hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, whose regular series, “The Walking Dead: Dead City,” returns on Sunday. 

“48 Hours” (CBS, 10 p.m.) follows the case of a college student murdered by her high school sweetheart. 

On the made-for-TV thriller “I Am Your Biggest Fan” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.), an obsessive fan kidnames a former child star. Meghan Carrasquillo and Lauren Cole star.

The groundbreaking comedian is profiled in the two hour “I Am Richard Pryor” (CW, 8 p.m.). 

“Somebody’s Son” (OWN, 9 p.m.) has one woman winning a solo date. 

Kristina doesn’t think she’s ready to perform on “Love & Marriage: Detroit” (OWN, 8 p.m.). 

“Say Yes to the Dress” (TLC, 8 p.m.) finds Randy reduced to tears. 

Jimmy Buffett’s daughter, Delaney Buffett, wrote, directed and stars in the 2024 comedy “Adult Best Friends” (HBO, 8 p.m.), about 30-somethings gathering for a wedding weekend, making its premium cable debut. 

“Mysterious Island” (MeTV, 8 p.m.) is the offering tonight on “Svengoolie.” 

Lin-Manuel Miranda picks a pair of movies tonight on Turner Classic Movies. His choices: “The Band Wagon” (8 p.m.) and “All That Jazz” (10 p.m.). The midnight noir is “Riffraff” (12:15 a.m.). Later comes a couple of thieves: “The Thief Who Came to Dinner” (2 a.m.) and “The Thief of Bagdad” (4 p.m.). The midday musical is “Shine on Harvest Moon” (noon). 

Baseball includes Tampa Bay at Yankees (MLB, 1 p.m.), Minnesota at Boston (Fox Sports 1, 4 p.m.), Kansas City at Baltimore (Fox, 7:15 p.m.) and Detroit at Angels (MLB, 9:30 p.m.).

First round NBA Playoffs have Clippers at Denver (TNT, truTV, 7:30 p.m.) in Game 7.

First round action in the Stanley Cup Playoffs has Colorado at Dallas (ABC, 8 p.m.) in Game 7. 

Preseason WNBA games include Washington at Indiana (NBA, 1 p.m.). 

NASCAR runs its Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 (CW, 2 p.m.). 

There is third round place in the Byron Nelson Tournament (Golf, 1 p.m.; CBS, 3 p.m.).

United Football Lague actin has Memphis at Houston (ABC, noon). 

Track and field has the Grand Slam Track (CW, 5 p.m.) from Miami. 

The NCAA Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament (ESPN2, 10 a.m.) continues most of the day. 

Men’s college lacrosse includes Sacred Heart vs. Siena (ESPNU, 12:30 p.m.) and Georgetown vs. Villanova (CBS Sports, 5 p.m.).

Women’s college lacrosse has Navy vs. Loyola, Md. (CBS Sports, 2:30 p.m.) and Denver at Villanova (Fox Sports 2, 6 p.m.).

College softball includes Oklahoma at Florida (ESPN2, 5 p.m.), Long Beach State at Cal Poly (ESPNU, 5 p.m.) and BYU at Texas Tech (ESPNU, 7 p.m.). 

Hockey’s IIHF U-18 World Hockey Championship has Canada vs. Sweden (NHL. 8 p.m.) for the gold medal game and U.S. vs. Slovakia (NHL, 3:30 p.m.) in the bronze medal game. 

Quinta Brunson returns to host a new “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) with first time musical guest Benson Boone. The rerun at 10 is last month’s episode with Jon Hamm and Lizzo.
