The difficult and troublesomely prescient drama “The Handmaid’s Tale” (Hulu, streaming) with Elisabeth Moss comes to an end after five seasons with something hopeful — an uprising. 

A new two-part documentary “Sitting Bull” (History, 9 p.m.) profiles the Lakota leader who headed his own resistance, but died while in U.S. military custody in 1890. Mo Brings Plenty of the series “Yellowstone” narrates; Lakota actor Michael Spears, of “Dances with Wolves” and “1923” portrays the adult Sitting Bull. The series concludes Wednesday. 

Jeffrey Dean Morgan of “The Walking Dead: Dead City” hosts the new reality competition “Destination X” (NBC, 10 p.m.), in which contestants — some of whom are recognizable figures from other reality shows — are dropped into a foreign locale and have to figure out where they are — and by reading clues, where they should be. 

Despite the inability to find great talent for 19 seasons, “America’s Got Talent” (NBC, 8 p.m.) returns for a 20th season looking for just that, starting with two hours of auditions. Mel B returns to the judges table with Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara. Terry Crews returns as host. 

“Down Home Fab” (HGTV, 8 p.m.), the home renovation series set in Sioux Falls, S.D., and hosted by Chelsea and Cole DeBorer of “Teen Mom 2,” returns for its third season. 

The third season ends for the procedural drama “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

“The Cleaning Lady” (Fox, 8 p.m.) must find a way to protect her freedom. 

Ilana glazer, Chelsea Peretti and Moshe Kasher play “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” (ABC, 8 p.m.).

“Jeopardy! Masters” (ABC, 9 p.m.) moves into quarterfinal games five and six. 

Today’s broadcast of the “American Music Awards” (MTV, 10 p.m.) gets a replay on a cable station where music was once not so unusual. 

The two-night true crime documentary “Sherri Papini: Caught in the Lie” (Investigation Discovery, 9 p.m.) concludes with two hour-long episodes. The first half is repeated at 7. 

“Polyfamily” (TLC, 10 p.m.) is still trying to iron out house rules.

The Westerns series on Turner Classic Movies tonight has “The Searchers” (8 p.m.), “Duel in the Sun” (10:15 p.m.), “Winchester ’73” (1 a.m.), “I Shot Jesse James” (2:30 a.m.) and “Blood on the Moon” (4:30 a.m.). 

During the day are films about singers: “The Great Caruso” (6 a.m.), “So This is Love” (8 a.m.), “The Singing Nun” (10 a.m.), “Love Me or Leave Me” (11:45 a.m.), “The Helen Morgan Story” (2 p.m.), “Your Cheatin’ Heart” (4 p.m.) and “Interrupted Melody” (6 p.m.). 

Baseball has Atlanta at Philadelphia (TBS, 6:30 p.m.) and Pittsburgh at Arizona (MLB, 9:30 p.m.). 

NBA Playoffs have Knicks at Indiana (TNT, truTV, 8 pm.) for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals. 

Stanley Cup Playoffs have Dallas at Edmonton (ESPN, 8 p.m.) in Game 4 of its Western Conference finals.
