She stars as a journalist who travels to the remote compound of a pop star who had disappeared three decades earlier where he runs a kind of cult. John Malkovich, Juliette Lewis, and Murray Bartlett also star. 

It’s Amanda Anismova of the United States vs. Iga Swiatek of Poland in the women’s final at Wimbledon (ESPN, 11 a.m.). It follows the men’s doubles final at 8 a.m.

WWE barges into primetime for another “Saturday Night’s Main Event” (NBC, 8 p.m.), this one featuring the return of Goldberg at age 58. The other odd primetime network sports is AVP Beach Volleyball (CW, 8 p.m.). 

The true crime series “Buried in the Backyard” (Oxygen, 8 p.m.) returns for a sixth season, starting with a double murder in North Carolina.

It’s up to a women’s grief support group hiking through the woods to save a teenage girl being held captive in a cabin in the made-for-TV thriller “Little Girl in the Woods” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). 

The latest installment in the out-of-season holiday series “Unwrapping Christmas: Mia’s Prince” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.), a romance novelist meats a philanthropist who looks like a hero from one of her books. Kathryn Davis and Nathan Witte star in the made-for-TV romance. 

“Ghost Adventures” (Travel, 9 p.m.) investigates the location of a horror film. 

The Bermuda Triangle is one of the “Mysteries From Above” (History, 9 p.m.).

“1000-lb Roomies” (TLC, 8 p.m.) endure an uncomfortable camping trip. 

The latest entry in Sharkfest is a look at the rise of great white sightings in Atlantic Canada, “Sharks of the North” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.). It follows the special “Sharks Gone Viral: Fact Frenzy” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.). 

Trey has difficulty making inroads in St. Louis on “BMF” (Starz, 8 p.m.).

“Invaders from Mars” (MeTV, 8 p.m.) drop in on Svengoolie. 

Debra Winger pics the double feature on Turner Classic Movies tonight with “People Will Talk” (8 p.m.) and “The Scarlet Empress” (10 p.m.). The midday musical is “Your Cheatin’ Heart” (noon). The 12 o’clock noir is “The Gangster” (midnight), followed by two with Raquel Welch, ”Kansas City Bomber” (1:45 a.m.) and “Flareup” (3:45 a.m.). 

Baseball includes Cubs at Yankees (MLB, 1 p.m.), Philadelphia at San Diego (Fox, 7:30 p.m.) and Toronto at Athletics (MLB, 10 p.m.).

WNBA action has Minnesota at Chicago (ABC, 1 p.m.) and Golden State at Las Vegas (CBS, 4 p.m.).

There is third round play in the Scottish Open (Golf, 10 p.m.; CBS, noon) and second round play in the American Century Championship (NBC, 2:30 p.m.).

Robert Glasper and DOMi and JD Beck play an “Austin City Limits” (PBS, 11 p.m., check local listings) from January 2024.

The Scarlett Johansson-hosted “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) season finale from May with Bad Bunny is also rerun.  

There’s no new “SNL” for months, but you could consider a replay of this week’s weird President Trump’s Cabinet Meeting (C-SPAN, 8 p.m.) equivalent to an 80-minute cold open.
