The family fantasy adventure “The Legend of Ochi” (HBO, 8 p.m.) makes its premium cable debut. Helena Zengel stars as a farmgirl in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine who discovers a lost creature called the Ochi which she seeks to return to its family. Finn Wolfhard (of “Stranger Things”), Emily Watson and Willem Dafoe also star in Isaiah Saxon’s film. 

“Naming the Dead” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.) is a series that uses new technology to identify some of the estimated 50,000 unidentified bodies buried across America. It started last week.

Also new into its season is the spinoff “Outlander: Blood of my Blood” (Starz, 10 p.m.).

Primetime is dominated by preseason football, with Jets at Giants (NBC, 7 p.m.). 

But there’s also primetime baseball, with Yankees at St. Louis (Fox, 7 p.m.). 

And on a lesser scale, some Professional Bull Riders Camping World Teams Series (CW, 8 p.m.). 

“American Prince: JFK Jr.” (CNN, 9 p.m.) introduces his new George magazine. 

A brooding artist may be crazier than he appears in the made-for-TV thriller “I’ll Never Let You Go” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). 

“Storage Wars” (A&E, 9 p.m.) ends its 16th season and presumably goes back into a storage unit. 

Weird carvings are attributed to being “Myseries from Above” (History, 8 p.m.).

“Heart & Hustle: Houston” (OWN, 9 p.m.) is the apparent regional variation of “Love and Marriage: Huntsville” (Own, 8 p.m.).

Armored car heists is the focus of “Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.).

The three part “Providence Falls” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.), about a love story that spans centuries, reaches its conclusion.

“Ghost Adventures” (Travel, 9 p.m.) goes to a former girl’s school in Hollywood. 

A venomous snake in a kindergarten class is sought by “The Snake Catcher” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.).

“48 Hours” (CBS, 10 p.m.) looks for the Zombie Hunter.

Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing’s first meeting in “Horror of Dracula” (MeTV, 8 p.m.) is on “Svengoolie.” 

Charles Bronson is featured for the first time on Turner Classic Movies’ Summer Under the Stars with films all day that include “Riding Shotgun” (6 a.m.), “Target Zero” (7:30 a.m.), “Run of the Arrow” (9:15 a.m.), “Suns for San Sebastián” (10:45 a.m.), “The Magnificent Seven” (12:45 p.m.), “The Great Escape” (3 p.m.), “Red Sun” (6 p.m.), “Hard Times” (8 p.m.), “Chaos Land” (10 p.m.), “Death Wish” (midnight), “The Dirty Dozen” (1:45 a.m.) and “Guns of Diablo” (4:30 a.m.). 

Baseball includes Pittsburgh at Cubs (Fox Sports 1, 2:15 p.m.), Seattle at Mets (MLB, 5 p.m.) and San Diego at Dodgers (MLB, 10 p.m.).

Preseason NFL includes Cleveland at Philadelphia (NFL, 1 p.m.), San Francisco at Las Vegas (NFL, 4 p.m.) and Arizona at Denver (NFL, 10 p.m.).

In the WNBA, it’s New York at Minnesota (CBS, 2 p.m.).

There is third round play in the BMW Championship (Golf, 1 p.m.; NBC, 3 p.m.).

NASCAR runs its Cook Out 400 (USA, 7:30 p.m.). 

Canadian football has Hamilton at Saskatchewan (CBS Sports, 2 p.m.) and Montreal at British Columbia (CBS Sports, 7 p.m.).

Horse racing has the Alabama Stakes (Fox, 4 p.m.). 

The Little League World Series has Australia vs. Czech Republic (ESPN, 1 p.m.), 

The Martin Short-hosted “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) with Hozier from last Christmas is rerun.
