College football kicks and quickly fills up primetime network TV. That means off with Fresno State at Kansas (Fox, 6:30 p.m.), North Carolina Central at Southern (ABC, 7:30 p.m.) and Stanford at Hawaii (CBS, 7:30 p.m.). 

Earlier games have Iowa State vs. Kansas State (ESPN, noon), Incarnate Word at Nicholls (ESPN2, 1 p.m.), Tarleton State at Portland State (ESPN2, 4:30 p.m.),  UC Davis vs. Mercer (ESPN, 7 p.m.) and Sam Houston State at Western Kentucky (CBS Sports, 7 p.m.).

They’ve done “Girl in the Attic,” “Girl in the Box,” “Girl in the Basement” “Girl in the Video” and “Girl in the Box.” And now here’s ”Girl in the Cellar” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.) about a single mother who takes extreme measures to try and control her teenage daughter. Kyla Pratt and Kelsey Mawema star. 

Heavily armed militias are the focus of “Trafficked with Mariana Van Zeller” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.).

“Naming the Dead” (National Geographic, 10 p.m.) looks to identify the grave of a man crushed under ice in a railroad car. 

A woman trying to nail an ice cream shop as a client goes up against a corner colleague (who may eventually be a romantic partner) in the made for TV romance “Double Scoop” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.). 

“Mysteries from Above” (History, 8 p.m.) zooms in on a giant glacier on Mars. 

Harold debates a proposal on “Match Me Abroad” (TLC, 8 p.m.). 

On “Love and Marriage: Huntsville” (OWN, 8 p.m.), there are questions of infidelity. 

Women attend a healing session on “Heart & Hustle: Houston” (OWN, 9 p.m.).

“American Prince: JFK Jr.” (CNN, 9 p.m.) concludes with a tragic plane crash. 

Henry takes a challenging assignment on “Outlander: Blood of my Blood” (Starz, 9 p.m.).

“Magic City: An American Fantasy” (Starz, 8 p.m.) chronicles the rise of the club. North

The Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee production of “The Curse of Frankenstein” (MeTV, 8 p.m.) is on Svengoolie. 

Turner Classic Movies features Gina Lollobrigidia for the first time on Turner Classic Movies, with “Hotel Paradiso” (6 a.m.), “Go Naked in the World” (7:45 a.m.), “Never So Few” (9:30 a.m.), “Beat the Devil” (11:45 a.m.), “Solomon and Sheba” (1:30 p.m.), “Trapeze” (4 p.m.), “Buona Sera, Mrs. Campbell” (6 p.m.), “Come September” (8 p.m.), “Strange Bedfellows” (10 p.m.), “Woman of Straw” (midnight), “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (2:15 a.m.) and “Fanfare la Tulipe” (4:15 a.m.).

WNBA action includes New York at Atlanta (CBS, 3 p.m.) and Connecticut at Chicago (CBS Sports, 4 p.m.).

NASCAR runs its Coke Zero Sugar 400 (NBC, 7 p.m.).

There is third round play in the Tour Championship (Golf, 1 p.m.; NBC, 2:30 p.m.).

Horse racing has the Travers Stakes (Fox, 3 p.m.).

Women’s college volleyball has Kansas vs. Vanderbilt (Fox Sports 1, 3 p.m.) and Creighton vs. Penn State (Fox Sports 1, 5 p.m.).

The Little League World Series has Taiwan vs. Aruba (ABC, 12:30 p.m.) in the international championship and Connecticut vs. Nevada (ESPN, 7 p.m.) in the U.S. championship. Winners play in the finale Sunday. 

The Shane Gillis-hosted “Saturday Night Live” (NBC, 11:30 p.m.) with Tate McRae from March is rerun.
