Middling rapper, questionable talent scout, unconvincing fashion designer, Sean Combs changed his names a bunch of times from Puff Daddy to P. Diddy and was sentenced in October for 50 years on two counts of transportation for purposes of prostitution. 

The more you know him, the less you want to spend four episodes watching  “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” (Netflix, streaming). That it’s produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson gives it an air of rap beef that Diddy’s people have already called a hit piece. . 

“Hard Knocks: In Season with the NFC East” (HBO, 9 p.m.) returns, this time concentrating on the regular season progress (or lack of it) by the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Commanders. 

Lauren Daigle and Jordan Davis host the 16th “CMA Country Christmas” (ABC, 9 p.m.) with holiday tunes sung by Little Big Town, Riley Green, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trusks, BeBe Winans, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Parker McCollum and Megan Moroney. 

It’s followed by a holiday edition of “What Would You Do?” (ABC, 10 p.m.). 

“Vanderpump Rules” (Bravo, 9 p.m.) returns for its 12th season of messy relationships. 

Kimora Le Simmons, the model, business woman, mother and former spouse of Russell Simons returns to TV a dozen years after her “”Life in the Fab Lane”  for another reality TV show at 50 with “Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane” (E!, 10 p.m.). 

Time to start reviewing the year in various aspects. First one up is “TMZ Presents: TMZ’s Most Outrageous Moments of 2025” (Fox, 9 p.m.). 

A winner was named in last week’s finale. Tonight, they just dance for the entertainment in a holiday-themed “Dancing with the Stars” (ABC, 8 p.m.). 

“NCIS” (CBS, 8 p.m.) investigates a Navy SEAl who survived the Taliban but may have committed murder; “NCIS: Origins” (CBS, 9 p.m.) looks into the murder of a marine, chosen for a special mission; and a U.S. naval officer is arrested for murder on “NCIS: Sydney” (CBS, 10 p.m.). 

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) attend a Spill the Tea party that gets ugly. 

The second season ends for the Canadian series “Murder in a Small Town” (Fox, 8 p.m.). 

“Fixer to Fabulous” (HGTV, 8 p.m.) returns for a new season with the husband-and-wife renovation team Dave and Jenny Marrs. 

The spinoff “Hoarding for the Holidays” (HGTV, 9 p.m.) has its finale. 

A B&B in Connecticut is hit with “Paranormal Revenge” (Travel, 9 p.m.). 

At least the true crime series “Mother, May I Murder?” (Investigation Discovery, 9 p.m.) is polite. 

“Mysteries Unearthed with Danny Trejo” (History, 10 p.m.) finds a forgotten pyramid from a lost civilization. 

There’s some wedding dress shopping on “Baylen Out Loud” (TLC, 9 p.m.). 

On “Tyler Perry’s The Oval” (BET, 9 p.m.) tensions rise in the bunker. 

Waiting for spring is part of the “Northwoods Survival” (National Geographic, 9 p.m.). 

The British actress Merle Oberon is star of the month on Turner Classic Movies. The weekly showcase begins tonight with “The Dark Angel” (8 p.m.), “The Scarlet Pimpernel” (10 p.m.), “The Private Life of Don Juan” (11:45 p.m.) and “The Private Life of Henry VIII” (1:15 a.m.), followed by “The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex” (3 a.m.) and the documentary “Yellowface: Asian Whitewashing and Racism in Hollywood” (5 a.m.). 

TCM’s day is given to the 100th birthday celebration of actress Julie Harris with “You’re a Big Boy Now” (6:45 a.m.), “The Split” (8:30 a.m.), “Harper” (10:15 a.m.), “Reflections in a Golden Eye” (12:30 p.m.), “Requiem for a Heavyweight” (2:30 p.m.), “The Haunting” (4 p.m.) and “East of Eden” (6 p.m.). 

NBA action has Knicks at Boston (NBC, 8 p.m.) and Oklahoma at Golden State (Peacock, 11 p.m.). 

Hockey has Toronto at Florida (Hulu, 7:30 p.m.) and Chicago at Vegas (Hulu, 10 p.m.).
