The weird post-apocalyptic Western series based on a video game and starring Walton Goggins, “Fallout” (Prime Video, streaming), returns for a new season. Macaulay Culkin and Justin Theroux join the cast for season two, alongside Kumail Nanjiani, Leslie Uggams, Ella Purnell and Kyle MacLachlan. 

“Survivor” (CBS, 8 p.m.) ends its 49th season with a three-hour finale eventually crowning the winner. The prize is one-fourth that on the finale of “The Floor” (Fox, 8 p.m.).  

The iHeart Jingle Ball 2025 (ABC, 8 p.m.) moves to a new network with a roster that includes Ed Sheeran, The Kid Laroi, Monsta X, Nelly, Reneé Rapp, Conan Gray, Laufey, Jessie Murph, Myles Smith, Zara Larsson, Alex Warren, Olivia Dean, Feid, Sean Paul, Shinedown and BigXthaPlug, among others. Special guests include Robert De Niro, Tiffany Haddish, Eli Manning, Kat Dennings and Darren Criss. 

I’m thinking that the country may have underwritten the travel special “Destination: Qatar!” (CW, 8 p.m.).

It’s followed by another title that ends with an exclamation point, “Best Christmas Movies Ever!” (CW, 9 p.m.) in which they talk about the movies showing on every channel every night this month, 

The tunnels of Pendleton, Ore., are explored on “Ghost Adventures” (Discovery, 9 p.m.). 

“Tyler Perry’s Sistas” (BET, 9 p.m.) ends its ninth season with a hangover after a send-off cookout. 

Craig throws his first pool party since his breakup on “Southern Charm” (Bravo, 9 p.m.). 

“The Challenge” (MTV, 8 p.m.) continues its reunion episodes. 

Allow me to recycle a joke: “Dangerously Obese” (TLC, 9 p.m.) has a “Where Are They Now?” episode. Well they probably can’t be that hard to find. 

Not a bad way to pay tribute to Rob Reiner: Watch “This is Spinal Tap” (HBO, 9 p.m.) and “Spinal Tap II: The End Continues” (HBO, 10:25 p.m.) back to back. 

A day after the 250th anniversary of her birth, Turner Classic Movies has some Jane Austen adaptations with “Emma” (8 p.m.), “Sense and Sensibility” (10:15 p.m.), “Persuasion” (12:45 a.m.) and “Pride and Prejudice” (2:45 a.m.). 

During the day are the films of Douglas Fairbanks Jr., with “Captured!” (7 a.m.), “Gunga Din” (8:15 a.m.), “Chances” (10:15 a.m.), “Flight Commander” (11:30 a.m.), “I Like Your Nerve” (1:30 p.m.), “Having a Wonderful Time” (3 p.m.), “Joy of Living” (4:15 p.m.) and “Sinbad the Sailor” (6 p.m.). 

Basketball includes Memphis at Minnesota (NBA, 8 p.m.). 

Hockey has Utah at Detroit (TNT, truTV, 7:30 p.m.) and New Jersey at Vegas (TNT, truTV, 10 p.m.)

College football has Old Dominion vs. South Florida (ESPN, 5 p.m.) in the StaffDNA Cure Bowl in Orlando, and Louisiana vs. Delaware (ESPN, 8:30 p.m) in the 68 Ventures Bowl in Mobile, Ala.  

Also, the NJCAA Division 1 championship game has Iowa Western vs. Hutchinson (ESPNU, 7 p.m.). 

Men’s college basketball includes Creighton at Xavier (Fox Sports 1, 6:30 p.m.), Vanderbilt at Memphis (ESPN2, 7 p.m.), Georgetown at Marquette (Fox Sports 1, 8:30 p.m.), Air Force at San Diego State (CBS Sports, 10 p.m.) and Arizona State at UCLA (Fox Sports 1, 10:30 p.m.).
