There’s little snow on the slopes this season but there are a couple of ski movies tonight on Turner Classic Movies tonight. It begins with Michael Ritchie’s “Downhill Racer” (8 p.m.) from 1969, with two actors who died last year: Robert Redford and Gene Hackman. It’s followed by the 1965 “Ski Party” (10 p.m.), which is a kind of “Beach Party” movie except on the slopes, with Frankie Avalon, Deborah Walley and Dwayne Hickman. The best part of the music, though, from James Brown, Lesley Gore, and the Hondells.
NFL Playoffs begin with Wild Card weekend, with Rams at Carolina (Fox, 4:30 p.m.) and Green Bay at Chicago (Prime Video, 8 p.m.).
