Patrick Dempsey, the erstwhile “McDreamy,” stars in the new drama “Memory of a Killer” (Fox, 10 p.m.), about a man with a double life — upstate family man and big city hitman. Plus he’s losing his memory. Seems a little far fetched. But the cast includes Michael Imperioli, who adds a little mob cred. Its premiere tonight takes advantage of the big audience expected for the NFC championship that precedes it; its regular time slot will be Mondays. 

Everything revolves around the NFL conference championships today, which, besides Rams at Seattle (Fox, 6:30 p.m.) in the NFC, has New England at Denver (CBS, 3 p.m.) in the AFC. Winners go to Super Bowl LX Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, Calif.

“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” (HBO, 10 p.m.), the “Game of Thrones” prequel, scored the highest ratings for any of the show’s premieres on Rotten Tomatoes and was among HBO’s best debuts, drawing 6.7 million viewers across HBO and HBO Max within three days of last week’s premiere.

A new case on “Bookish” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) involves the death of an extra when a film crew visits. 

“60 Minutes” (CBS, 7 p.m.) is all Hollywood-minded, perhaps in an effort to avoid political censorship, as it profiles Timothée Chalamet, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kate Winslet. It’s the only thing new on it or any other broadcast network tonight, all retreating into reruns up against football. 

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” (Bravo, 8 p.m.) wind down their Colorado trip, but not without a mishap. 

There is a trip to Miramar, Fla., on “Married to Medicine” (Bravo 9:15 p.m.). 

“Wardens of the North” (Animal Planet, 9 p.m.) must remind anglers on the rules for fishing white salmon. 

After testifying against her husband, which puts him on death row, a woman finds out the real murderer is at large in the made-for-TV thriller “The Millwood Murders: Buried Truth” (Lifetime, 8 p.m.). 

“When Calls the Heart” (Hallmark, 8 p.m.) organizes a surprise party for Oliver. 

Tex Mex tacos are the test on the first of two episodes of “Worst Cooks in America” (Food, 8 p.m.). 

“Celebrity IOU” (HGTV, 9 p.m) ends its 11th season with an episode involving William Shatner surprising his assistant with a kitchen upgrade. 

A Chinese Airlines crash is the subject of “Air Disasters” (Smithsonian, 8 p.m.). 

Turner Classic Movies haas its salute to Diane Keaton, who died last October at 79, with “Father of the Bride” (12:30 p.m.), “Reds” (2:30 p.m.), “Manhattan Murder Mystery” (6 p.m.), “Annie Hall” (8 p.m.) and “Baby Boom” (10 p.m.). A couple of silent Westerns, “The Invaders” (midnight) and “Tumbleweeds” (12:45 a.m.), followed by two from Hiroshi Teshigahara, “Pitfall” (2:15 a.m.) and “Woman in the Dunes” (4 a.m.).

Hockey has Colorado at Toronto (NHL, 1:30 p.m.) and Florida at Chicago (NHL, 7 p.m.).
