The next chapter of Paul McCartney’s life after the Beatles is chronicled in Morgan Neville’s new music documentary “Paul McCartney: Man on the Run” (Prime Video, streaming) that follows the formation of Wings and its struggles to succeed despite the shadow of his previous band. McCartney is more than cooperative, with new interviews and a load of previously unseen home footage. 

The hard-charging sports documentary series “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” (Netflix, streaming) roars back for its eighth season. 

A second season begins for the South Korean reality series “Agents of Mystery” (Netflix, streaming), in which six people try to explain incidents that can’t easily be explained by science. 

“Great Performances” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) presents jazz vocalist Samara Joy in concert from London’s Royal Albert Hall.

“20/20” (ABC, 9 p.m.) revisits the Texas yogurt shop murders with new evidence. 

Another big wildfire tests the station on “Fire Country” (CBS, 9 p.m.). 

“Sheriff Country” (CBS, 8 p.m.) seems under attack.
