I tend to think the presence of Nicole Kidman is a red flag when it comes to new series. Nonetheless she stars as “Scarpetta” (Prime Video, streaming), the forensic pathologist from the Patricia Cornwell novels. The series tracks both when she was gaining her skills in the 1990s, and solving a spate of murders in the present day. Jamie Lee Curtis and Simon Baker also star.

Australia can be a rich source of comedies from “Kath & Kim” to “Fisk.” The newest import is “Sunny Nights” (Hulu, streaming) which happens to have an American couple — played by Will Forte and D’Arcy Carden — who emigrate to start a mobile spray tan company, only to get caught up with Sydney’s criminal underworld.

“Love is Blind” (Netflix, 9 p.m.) has its reunion show and there’s plenty to tell about what happened to the couples since the season was shot a year ago in Ohio. There were more surviving couples than expected, and one real jerk who needs to explain himself.

While that show had people date without seeing one another, the new series “Age of Attraction” (Netflix, streaming) has them mingle without revealing their age. Some with similar ages do meet, but the show ignores them altogether in favor of those with age differences of some 30 years or more. It’s all fun and games until they have to introduce them to family and friends. The host is onetime “Bachelor” (and two-time “bachelorette” runner-up) Nick Viall and his wife Natalie, who is 18 years his junior. Plenty of ick here.

Even more ick is found among the super-macho social media influencers visited in the documentary “Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere” (Netflix, streaming).
