A tough guy on the roasting circuit, Jeff Ross gets a little sentimental when talking about his New Jersey upbringing in his Broadway show “Jeff Ross: Take a Banana for the Ride” (Netflix, streaming), filmed live for TV. But the laughs are never far away. 

Two South Korean pals, who worked on popular reality shows there, take their schtick to Texas where one of them hopes to one day live. Their antics are filmed for the reality series “Ready or Not: Texas” (Netflix, streaming). 

The documentary “White with Fear” (PBS, 10 p.m., check local listings) explains how the party that founded trying to overthrow slavery now cultivates bigotry to gain votes. It makes its public TV debut two years after it was made, during which time things have only gotten worse. 

At least there won’t be any online wagering ads during the “Breaking the Deadlock” (PBS, 9 p.m., check local listings) discussion about sports betting and its impact on the young. 

A second season arrives for “Daredevil: Born Again” (Disney+, streaming) starring charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Krysten Ritter. Matthew Lillard and Lili Taylor join the cast. 

“NCIS” (CBS, 8 p.m.) reaches its 500th episode with the team reuniting off the books to help a Marine’s son. Emily ickersham is among the actors returning for the event.

There are fears of a plague outbreak on “Best Medicine” (Fox, 8 p.m.). 

“NCIS: Origins” (CBS, 9 p.m.) investigates the deaths of two Marines alongside the road. “NCIS: Sydney” (CBS, 10 p.m.) responds to an explosion that wiped out a bomb squad. 

“Doc” (Fox, 9 p.m.) takes a road trip with its own problems.

Preparations are made for Kyle’s birthday party on “Summer House” (Bravo, 8 p.m.). 

“R.J. Decker” (CBS, 10 p.m.) gets in the middle of a suburban housewife mystery. 

Joc attempts to make peace bween Zane and 24 on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” (MTV, 8 p.m.). 

“Will Trent” (ABC, 8 p.m.) gets anxious about the wherabouts of his uncle. 

The fate of a detective’s daughter lies with telling the location of an influencer in the made for TV thriller “Brace for Danger” (Lifetime Movie Networ, 8 p.m.).  

“Road Wars” (A&E, 9 p.m.) leads to “Customer Wars” (A&E, 10 p.m.). 

Ted takes over the challenges on “Chopped” (Food, 9 p.m.). 

“Moonshiners” (Discovery, 8 p.m.) need new brakes.
